I just want to start off by saying, thanks for checking out my deck! This is purely made as a proof-of-concept and far from playable, but I had this idea looking at Lord Deathwing and thought someone who can actually build decks see this and make something good.
When you look at Lord Deathwing, you'd think the best kind of deck to put him in would be a super greedy dragon deck, and while that could work, you're putting a lot of dead cards in your hand. I think just a 12/12 isn't bad, especially against decks that can't deal with it, especially considering we'll probably see BGH getting nerfed, but one that summons even just a Ysera is insane value, and possibly getting a Chillmaw or even a Dragon Consort off of the deathrattle is pretty good.
The general idea is to use Ancient Harbinger and the bits of draw in the deck to get Lord Deathwing and N'Zoth into your hand, and use Dragon Consort to get Lord Deathwing out earlier, or, if need be, ysera.
First Edit: With the help of a noble redditor, I added some more clears and such to try to survive early game.
Second Edit: Forgot I was gonna put twilight guardians in the first edit.
Haha! I have also come up with the same concept. As soon as I saw Deathwing, Dragonlord I knew of trying to tie both him and N'Zoth, the Corruptor in a deck. there's plenty of synergies to be had, albeit at the mercy of how slow the meta is. Can't wait for more cars to put in and test XD
This actually looks like a really fun deck for standard! I've always been a fan of dragon decks so it's nice to see some creative architects out there! My only question is the double ancient harbinger. Even with 2 10-drops are they both needed? Or is it too early to tell without all the cards released yet?
My thinking is that it's not just that there's 2 10-drops, they're two of the most important cards in the deck. It's like if a druid card draws you force + savage.
Now, on the actual quality of the card, we'll have to see. Harbingers might not preform as well as I'm hoping.
