Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of Hearthpwn,

This is my Standard Control Shaman decklist, The Shaman King. This list takes advantage of the new powerful Shaman cards released in WOG, imposing minions, and powerful battlecries which all tie in wonderfully with Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound and Brann Bronzebeard. I created this list to focus as much on minions with strong battlecries within a vacuum and Totem synergies to empower the Shaman hero power (sorry Defender of Argus and Rumbling Elemental).

The game plan for this deck is to play on curve and control the board: note the huge number of minions in this desk -- Fire Elemental is here for damage dealing WITH minion presence and Refreshment Vendor is here for healing WITH minion presence -- these, along with strong weapons and Totem presence, work together with Y'Shaarj and the general Totem synergy, leaving Shamans with strong and constant board presence to dominate and win the game.

Update: I believe Flamewreathed Faceless and Eternal Sentinel are incredible Control cards, and worthy of having spots on this decklist.
