This deck exploits an weakness in PvE bosses in that they will not attack a taunt minion if you have Kel'Thuzad on the board. The core cards for this deck are Kel'Thuzad, Alarm-o-Bot, and Lightwell.
Kel'Thuzad - because of the aforementioned weakness
Alarm-o-Bot - to get Kel'Thuzad or a big taunt minion out on the board earlier than their mana cost allows.
Lightwell - to help you and your taunt minions survive until you can get Kel'Thuzad out on the board.
The specific taunt minons are not super important, in my opinion, I just selected taunts so I would have somewhat decent on-curve options to throw out in front of my hero.
The Light of the Naaru is really there only to give you a potentially big minion to finish out the game with a little quicker. Really, once you get KT on the board behind a taunt, it's just a matter of playing whatever taunt minions you can and pinging Slitherspear down with whatever minions you have on the board each turn.
I had been trying with a couple of other silence-based decks and another KT deck that depended on the same mechanic as a win condition, but still used the silence mechanic to help survive until turn 9 or 10 when you could get KT on the board with a small taunt. This deck just keeps throwing taunts out to block as much damage as possible, with the hope that either alarm-o-bot pulls KT out, or you make it at least to turn 8 and can drop KT behind a taunt wall.
