The guides listed are outdated or cater to F2P which need the perfect hand to win.  This deck requires base set as well as Naxx, GvG, and LoE.  This deck doesn't require to have the perfect hand, it may take you a few tries to win, but can recover if you make a few mistakes.

The new heals like Flash Heal, Light of the Naaru, Antique Healbot help immensely.  Excavated Evil is like another Holy Nova which can give you some breathing room to stabilize.

You may want to consider removing one Excavated Evil for more heal like Earthen Ring Farseer, but I was fine using both cards.

The objective is to heal and board clear to buy you time to get Lightwell buffs and/or Prophet Velen.  You can risk it if you want if you have Velen in your starting hand, but I'd rather have smaller casting cards such as heal and Shieldbearer so you don't get overwhelmed.
