I edited this version of the Renolock to take out the Demon package and throw in the Feugen-Stalagg package. Essentially, there are a few tech cards that are interchangeable and instead of running the demons which are inconsistent and hard to guarantee value out of, the Feugen-Stalagg package gives stronger lategame to a deck that is pretty much guaranteed to reach it.
Because of all the AoE board clears that the deck runs (Demonwrath, Hellfire, Shadowflame, and Twisting Nether) and the strong single target removal (Mortal Coil, Darkbomb, Imp-losion, and Siphon Soul) it can survive the early pressure of most aggro decks that are running rampant on the ladder like Face Hunter and Aggro Shaman and then reset the game with Reno. The Acidic Swamp Ooze deals with weapons like Doomhammer, Eaglehorn Bow, Truesilver Champion and Ashbringer although it can be swapped out for a Sunfury Protector. However, with there being less reliable minions to taunt (no Ancient Watcher) I fell like the Ooze is better in this meta.
Brann has fantastic synergy with a lot of cards in the deck: Antique Healbot for 16, Refreshment Vendor for 8, Defender of Argus for +2/+2, Twilight Drake for double health, Mind Control Tech for 2 creatures, and Dark Peddler for 2 cards. Most people choose to run an Earthen Ring Farseer in this card slot, but I feel Brann has higher value because he trades better against aggro cards with his 2/4 as compared to a 3/3 and also the double value from battlecries makes it as if you have 2 Healbots in the deck, etc.
Reno is an instant win against aggro, but suffers against midrange and control if you don't have board. If you opponent controls the board they'll just push face after Reno is dropped and you'll be back at square one. That's why the multiple board clears are inclueded. All you have to do is make it to lategame. Survive and Lord Jaraxxus and Thaddius will carry you to victory. By the time they hit the board your opponent will have run out of answers to your threats: they already BGH'd a Dr. Boom, they already silenced your Sylvanas Windrunner, they already dealt with so many powerful cards that the 11/11 hitting the board or the 6/6 Infernals spawning every turn just overwhelm them.
I've seen very high success with this deck so far sitting at 78% winrate from the climb of rank 10 to 5. I hope to hit legend rank soon and afterwards include a mulligan guide.
I'm sorry that this deck isn't working out for you but important things to keep in mind is that this deck plays nothing like Secret Paladin. It doesn't put up a strong early board, and it falls behind in tempo early. You use those early turns to try and stall out aggressive pushes and tap using your hero power as often as possible to draw into your board clears/taunts/heals.
The place this deck shines is the lategame. Once you get to those 10 mana crystals you outvalue your opponent with everything. And thanks to Reno Jackson, you can pretty much guarantee that you make it to the lategame.
All that this really comes down to is understanding your matchups. Like I said before, it is nothing like Secret Pally. You can't just play on curve and expect to win. You have to manage how you use your removal, and don't over commit your board clear spells. You can facetank a few more hits if it leads to higher value on a big Hellfire or Shadowflame. Once you get to lategame you have Boom, Slyvanus, Thaddius and Jaraxxus to overwhelm your opponent with huge minions that they no longer have the removal to deal with.
If you don't believe that this deck works check out the Similar Decks button and you'll find plenty of Renolocks that run a very similar set of cards that have achieved legend. The largest difference between Reno decks are the tech choices to deal with the meta, so they are surprisingly similar for decks that run 30 different one ofs. In my case, I have +Twisting Nether and +Refreshment Vendor to give me space for extra board clear and extra healing to deal with aggro. You can swap these out for a Piloted Shredder or a Power Overwhelming but they have worked better for me than the aforementioned cards.
As with all decks, it takes practice. You can't expect to master a new deck with 30 different cards in one day. Learn what each card does and how it synergies with the rest of the deck and I guarantee you'll find greater success with it.
