This deck is basically a control/deathrattle variation with a basic oil framework.  Unearthed Raptor synergizes very well with a variety of basic control cards like Haunted Creeper, Piloted Shredder, and Sludge Belcher.  This synergy and the stickyness of these minions and the control nature of the deck works very well with the oil aspect of the deck, as it allows one to chip away at the opponents health early and then survive long enough to burst the opponentt down.
