Note: The idea of putting ysera in a mage deck is from Savjz, but i made the deck for the biggest part.
I'll write a guide when this decks gets 12+ upvotes :)
Basic Mulligan without coin:
Flamewaker, Unstable Portal, Frostbolt, Mad Scientist, Shade of Naxxramas
Basic mulligan with coin:
Flamewaker, Unstable Portal, Frostbolt, Shade of Naxxramas, Mad Scientist, Water Elemental
vs hunter and paladin keep Doomsayer and vs control warlock Big Game Hunter and if you have coin Polymorph
Gameplan:
If you have Flamewaker, keep all your 2 manacost spells and coin for the turn 4 or 5 combo, if you don't have him, just try to keep board control with frostbolt, unstable portal etc...
If you play against aggro, always try to get your Antique Healbot or Sludge Belcherduplicated
If you play against a warrior or mage with Acolyte of Pain, always kill it with your 3/3 shade or frostbolt.
Can I change the "Ice Block" ?
I don't have it~

Dude stop posting decks that Savjz was experimenting with. It's misleading because people probably think he actually got legend with them (this deck and the other one this guy posted). In reality he was just trying some new stuff at legend and both decks turned out to be bad.
Is it just me or does the legend proof link to Savjz's legend rank, despite this not being similar to his deck? That seems somewhat misleading. Sorry if I misunderstood something there.

So I was wondering if the doomsayers were something that was essential for this deck. I mean there is no frost nova for the combo and I feel like it will never actually clear the board. Don't you think that would work better ?:

I really like the deck but I am just not sure about the doomsayers :) maybe there is something I have missed that has a good synergy with it in which case I am sorry for my ignorance ^_^. Anyway great deck and gonna give it a try with the doomsayers anyway. Just wanted to put the idea out there :) ! Good day !

So :'). I did spent quite some time and effort on the deck to see if I could improve anything. So first of all the choice that I am sure about is :
-1 Doomsayer
+1 Sylvanas
The reason being I find doomsayer a LITTLE bit too situational and I'd rather have a sylvanas to force the enemy to play around it. Of course this is preferences but I find that 1 doomsayer is enough. Now the "+1 Zombie Chow" that I came up with is a bad idea ^_^". I just thought it might work to improve a little bit the early game but it has a very small impact and it is only 1/30 to get it for turn 1. I decided that I would be okay to give up the early game and try to stall to my powerspike which is around turn 5/6. I also originally wanted to remove the shade of naxxramas but I found them extremely useful against acolyte which is very commonly played and just good overall. It can put a great deal of pressure if let free too long so it is very often considered a priority target. However what I decided to do was :
-1 Water Elemental
+1 Wee Spellstopper
Now let me explain myself :') ! Of course this is not a final change but I thought that it might be worth trying out. I find Wee Spellstopper to be a great card to stall the game especially on such a crucial turn (4th turn), and force the enemy to use his minions to clear and deny his use of spells on my minions. Turn 5 is often our powerspike turn so it also allows us to setup our turn and play with no restrictions. Up to now I have had great success with Wee Spellstropper but I also want to experiment with "Violet Teacher" and "Twilight Drake" because I feel like they could also help setting up our turn 5 powerspike. I will of course tell you the results that the experiments will give. I do still have some troubles against some matchups but I believe that this deck has a lot of potential if worked on and improved and this is why I am willing to put a lot of time and effort in it ^_^. I do however believe that the new expansion is coming out today after the shop update but it has not been announced yet for sure so I will keep working on it as if it was not. If it does however get released I will of course try and see what cards could fit in the deck :).
Anyway that was a really long post >.< I hope I helped at least a little and I of course understand that the changes might look weird and no very common and I do find hard to believe myself how good the Wee Spellstopper is :'). Goodnight to anyone sleeping.
Cool to finally see something else in a control version of mage :) I was just wondering how do you do with this deck, any good ranks? Also what matchups are you favoured and what matchups are hard? Cool idea with Ysera, i enjoy everytime i get to use that card :D Dont have the second doomsayer though, any good replacement? Thx for the deck upload!
