Using the posted decks, I was  having a difficult time beating The Four Horsemen on heroic...

So  I made my own deck.

The strategy basically has three phases.

-Phase 1: mitigate face damage. Do this by dropping mana wyrms, mirror images, unstable ghouls, and unstable portals.

-Phase 2: Kill the 3 horsemen minions.  At this point, the horsemen should be weakened.  Use spells to drain those last few points of the minion's health, and use vaporizes to melt the strongest remaining horsemen.

-Phase 3: Nuke his face.  This boss has zero minion cards in his deck, so once you've defeated the original three horsemen, it's simply a matter of smashing his face.  Throw a couple of fireballs at him, and it's basically gg.  If your health is low, avoid his big-damage sword hits by keeping him frozen, or dropping taunts.

General play tips:

Mulligan: This should be pretty obvious.  Swap high-cost cards for mana wyrms, mirror images, and most importantly mad scientists.  Each mad scientist that dies gives you 100% chance to vaporize.

Secrets: Be ready to deal with Rivendare's secrets.  If you don't have any unstable ghouls or pyromancers on the board to AOE them with, you can use a basic fireblast to knock out 1-life redemption spawns.    Absolutely expect the last surviving horseman to get buffed with vengeance.  Ideally you should set it up so that the it wont matter, because that vengeance buffed super-horseman will simply melt from vaporize.

Owls: If for some reason you can't steer a vengeance-buffed horseman into vaporize, use an owl to dispell it.  If all 3 minions have been dispelled or killed, Rivendare himself loses his shield, becoming vulnerable to damage.   While I personally chose to kill all 3 minions first, it is absolutely possible to simply dispell the minions and ignore them - choosing to go for the face instead.

Rivendare's Targeting Priority: Keep in mind the fact that the horsemen will generally bypass your weak minions like mana wyrms and mad scientists to go for face-hits.   This fact dictates the style of the fight.  As mentioned, mitigating early damage is important.  Knowing the horsemen will generally prioritize face-hits also makes it easy to predict when the horsemen will charge into your vaporizes.

While this deck makes heroic horsemen easy, keep in mind the fact that all heroics require a certain degree of luck.  While it is a good build confirmed to have a high win rate against the Four Horsemen, it isn't idiot proof.  You still need to play smart.  I am too lazy to spend 2 hours detailing all of the rudimentary play strategies like using synergy properly and melting weapons with acidic swamp ooze whenever possible.

Play smart, good luck, have fun, and remember you have to expect to lose once or twice before you get the hang of this or any other deck.  If you find yourself having bad RNG luck, take a break, text a cute girl, grab a glass of water, and try again.  Just remember, you will get it eventually, and your efforts will be worth it once you have that mega-awesome looking heroic naxx card back!
