This is the end goal decklist.
Budget Not a Problem? This is what I'd recommend.
Heyo! First of all thanks for the nice budget decklists ^_^
Second, do you see any chance for tirion in this deck as lategame security?
Third, what do you think about Milhouse Manastorm in this or any aggro deck? I just got him and have mixed feelings about him.
Fourth, is avenging wrath a viable choice in this aggro-based meta?
Thank you
Hey there Seth!
Unfortunately Tirion is just too expensive (mana cost wise) in this deck and doesn't fit. Keeping the Mana Curve low is pretty important to winning in this strategy.
Millhouse Manastorm is a consideration, but I still don't like him in this deck since it gives your opponent a chance at a broken turn filled with board clears. I'd much rather have King Mukla since he's a 5/5 and doesn't blow you out too hard, all while synergizing with Divine Favor.
Avenging Wrath is not a bad option, which you'd need to replace one of the top heavy spells to keep this deck consistent. Personally the randomness turns me away along with the mana cost, but feel free to give it a shot by cutting a 4-drop or larger.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
I'd probably use a Consecration for now since there seems to be a decent amount of Aggro on ladder.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Yeah that's a good idea for replacing King Mukla
Btw is King Mukla worth crafting? I have 3200+ dust, but I'm waiting to see what news Wednesday brings for Hearthstone. I rather save the dust for the new expan, but I still might craft King Mukla one day tho
King Mukla is a solid card in all of two decks. Aggro Paladin and Mill strategies. So if you plan on playing both of these, I would definitely craft him otherwise save your dust.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Thanks for the information, and feedback. I'm not going to craft him anytime soon then. I play mostly control decks, but I like Aggro from time-to-time to change things up.
hungry dragon is what im using in place of him and I have mukla. he lets opponent decide on how to trade minions where as hungry dragon lets you decide on how to trade.
I'm sure you already know this news by now, but yeah, you better hold onto that dust! Those new GT (Grand Tournament) legendaries look AWESOME ;)
Yes! My dust is waiting for next month...only issue are crafting which new Legendary cards haha
I know, right?! I have 9000 saved up (I never mass DE out of fear of them nerfing/changing cards, lol), and I cannot WAIT to get some of those legendaries! Saraad (Inspire: Get a random spell), Trueheart (Better Hero Power), and Kragg (Charrrrrrge!, the Parrot Pirate) are all really cool, but I won't know til I see those other cards. ;D (Plus I'm doing the pre-order bonus, so... I might nab some of them from packs!)
I'm a "high budget" player who gets stuck at rank 1 or 2 every season. I am trying to get over the legend hump. Aggro pally seems to be very strong in the current meta. I have Leeroy and Mukkla. Would you say this deck is better than the "budget" one you posted that got all of the likes?
Btw, great decks and videos. Thanks for them.
I personally like Aggro Pally this and last season especially. It seems to have decent matchups all around and is consistent. I would recommend the decklist above for sure over the budget version (I currently down own Mukla or Leeroy, but would play them if owned because they synergize with the deck well).
The only big change I'd consider in the deck is deciding whether or not you find Equality worthwhile in your Meta. If your facing more Aggro decks, I would swap this out for a Consecrate. If your facing more Control/Midrange I would either keep the Equality or swap it over for another aggressive minion like Worgen Infiltrator to keep the mana curve even lower.
Hope you reach your goal of Legend this season!
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Glad you are enjoying the guide series! ^^
Tinkmaster seems like a decent pick in this deck, I didn't even think to add him. Mind letting me know how it works out for you?
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Thank you! I could definitely see Sea Giant working out in this list and am glad it has been working out for you! I may have to give this a shot soon just to test it out. It's been a while since I've tried a Sea Giant in my aggro decks.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
I don't think cutting Haunted Creeper for anything is correct and replacing a 2-drop with a 4-mana spell is almost always incorrect. If you want to play Consecrate I'd recommend cutting Blessing of Kings for 1 copy. If you really wanted a second copy (which I find almost unnecessary in this list) I would recommend cutting either Coghammer or your utility card: Equality from the list.
However adding both Consecrates to the deck makes it a bit more top heavy and only solid against Aggro decks, since you weaken your odds against Control Strategies.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
You could either add Avenging Wrath or put back the Blessing of Kings that Leeroy replaced. They're both solid choices for different reasons.
Blessing of Kings is better against Control decks to give you a decent sized body to push damage and eat taunts with.
Avenging Wrath is mostly there to help clear a board state against Aggro and/or deal the last couple of points of damage needed to kill your opponent.
Good luck and grind on,
-Wings
Tirion doesn't fit the "Aggro" needs of the deck. But overall is a great card in a Midrange or Control Strategy. We also need to keep the mana curve of this deck as low as possible to get the best value out of Divine Favors.
any replacement for King Mukla
An Argent Protector or Blessing of Kings would be fine. Did you find this decklist through my Budget Guide? http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/270278-budget-aggro-paladin-aggrodin-legend-grinder

I'm only one card off and yes i did find from there
