Would like to see an updated version as well. Would be nice to see, which cards should be replaced.

And here I am opening up a nice Malygos..only to realize I don't have the giants T_T

But...is it as good as this deck? I will search fot it and try it right now anyway  :D

I just crafted Malygos & the 2 x Molten Giant & 2 x Mountain Giant, but don't have enough for Dr. Boom. I have everything else. What do suggest is a good substitute, given it is a great 7 mana option? I have these to choose from:

Kel'Thuzad

Foe Reaper 4000

Lord Jaraxxus

Mal'Ganis

Anima Golem

I'd choose between reaper and jaraxxus.

What do you think of Siphon soul? IS it necessary?

I'm still lacking one Molten Giant and Sylvanas Windrunner.  Trying it with Faceless Manipulator and Troggzor the Earthinator substitutions.  I suspect it's much weaker without the second Molten Giant, in particular.

Just registered to say thanks. I've gotten tired of the old handlock after over 400 games with it, this just made me enjoy the deck all over again.

You must learn how to play a Handlock deck. Here are some tips fight against aggro decks.

As the mulligan guide above, you must keep some low cost cards for early game(especially hunter and mage). So you can protect your face from enemy minions.

Ancient Watcher+owl/Sunfury Protector/Defender of Argus/Shadowflame could be help in early game. If you don't have any of them, try Hellfire on turn 3(with a coin) or 4. Usually, Hellfire is better than Shadowflame, because it needs 2 less mana(when you Shadowflame Ancient Watcher) and helps playing Molten Giant. So, don't keep Shadowflame at first.

Use your owls to silence some harmful minions. They are Mad Scientist, Haunted Creeper, Leper Gnome, Shielded Minibot, Nerubian Egg, etc.

Also, use your Darkbomb to kill some dangerous minions. They are Knife Juggler, Dire Wolf Alpha, Flametongue Totem, Mechwarper, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Whirling Zap-o-matic, etc.

Sometimes you must use Soulfire rather than saving it, when you think you'are gonna die if you don't.

When your face is safe, play Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, Molten Giant and buff them Taunt. You can also play Sylvanas Windrunner, Emperor Thaurissanor Dr. Boom when you're safe. It's a best situation if you can play Emperor Thaurissan safely, and make Antique Healbot and other cards cost less.

Don't play Antique Healbot when your face is safe. Play them after Molten Giant went to board. Of course, if you don't have MG, and your HP is low, than play Healbot. Don't save them when you're gonna be 0 Hp.

It's a great deck! My opponents didn't expect Malygos+Soulfire+@. Usually, it's the place of Jaraxxus, or Ragnaros sometimes. That is why I could finish them easily.

Its damage is a little bit weaker than Leeroy Jenkins + PO + Faceless Manipulator, but it's much easier to use. Because it only needs 2 cards(Malygos + spell) to make a combo.

Maybe you prefer 1 owl and 2 soulfires, but I love 2 owls. They  are really useful against acolyte of pain, haunted creeper, mad scientist, Sylvanas, Thaurissan.

I created an account just to tell you how much I love this build.  I run it with -1 Owl and +1 Soulfire.

I love Handlock, but people know it too well.  Maly combo comes out of nowhere.

He means that anyone playing you won't see malygos coming and they won't play around the burst possibilty

Even though i just won a game where the opponent lock soulfired me on 8 hp and discarded his second soulfire and lost the game,i still believe that running 2 soulfires on this deck is a must. maybe -owl +soulfire?

Your point of card quality is important,havent thought of it,the handlock way. I guess it will end up testing both ways and see what fits to everyone. Thx for your answer!

I just don't understand what Malygos is supposed to do in this deck, spell damage dark bomb / hellfire?

How often do you use those late game instead of early removal?

Against control matchups just having 2/3 of Malygos, Soulfire and 1x Dark Bomb hit by Emperor can give you pretty insane burst potential. Ofc, against aggro you want to go for it more defensivly. Just consider it kinda like the old Leeroy combo, gives you more options and can easily be used as a finisher.
