Introduction

Hello everyone,

My name is Jackker and I’m a player of Sector One (www.sectorone.eu) and I’m placed in the top 100 of the 2015 Hearthstone World Championship rankings.
And today I introduce you to my new Malygos Handlock!

I have been playing Malygos Warlock for quite some time now and realized the best way to play Malygos Warlock is to play it in the “standard” handlock.
The reason for this is very simple: the dragon cards just aren’t strong enough.
My first change to the original DragonLock were the Molten Giants and Mountain Giants. I did this because I always had 7-10 cards in hand and my life total got to 10 or lower pretty fast. The second thing I changed was Blackwing Technician. I had the feeling this card didn’t really bring anything to the deck and that Imp Gang Boss was just a better 3-drop in general. After that I cut some cards like Imp-losion, Azure Drake and Blackwing Corruptor. Suddenly my deck looked a lot like a standard Handlock with the big exception that you have an extra win condition because of Malygos.

Possible cards to add/change

- Ironbeak Owl for a Zombie Chow or a 2nd Soulfire
- If you're running into a lot of aggro, Hellfire x2, Shadowflame x1
- If you're running into a lot of control, Hellfire x1, Shadowflame x2

Mulligan Guide :

Against Aggro: Keep Darkbomb, Hellfire, Ancient Watcher, Ironbeak Owl, Molten Giant, Sunfury Protector and Mortal Coil

Against Control: Keep Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, Emperor Thaurissan and (Darkbomb).

!Keep Ancient Watcher if you already have Ironbeak Owl in the starting hand in some match-ups

I will write a more detailed guide soon if the deck get more views! :)
