Very simple fight, mulligan for Savage Roar. Ignore anything he places and go straight face each time.
Turn 1-4: Place as many creatures as possible down.
Turn 5-6: Use Savage Roar (w/ Innervate and Claw) for max value and about 20+ dmg generally.
I recommended saving early Naturalize for Clockwork Giant as smaller creatures are less of a concern as he generally goes face.
Posted Heroic Chromaggus here.
Great idea! Thx bro, 1st try!
Looks like this deck hasn't been updated in while, but with the crazy amount of cards you draw in this match, you really need to take out
some of the cards that don't synergize, like Young Dragonhawk and Wolfrider, for lower costmurlocslike Murloc Tinyfin and Sir Finley Mrrggltoneverything that isn't a murloc and replace it with Wisp, Target Dummy, or pretty much anything that costs 0. Keep Savage Roar as your win condition and Naturalize to answer his Clockwork Giant, although this is less necessary if you are running Target Dummy.Thx!
): RIP Vaelastrasz
Used Power of the Wild as a combo with Echoing Ooze and Living Roots. Worked very easily first try.
Got it but took like 5 tries. :)
Finally beat her using a deck based on this one, after trying repeatedly with this Hunter Deck. (In fairness, I did not have several of the cards).
I did not have neutralize, so I used Emperor Cobra to beat the one Clockwork Giant he dropped on me.
I also used Mountain Giant. With a full hand, this will cost 3 mana crystals.
Accidentally qued into ladder rank 11 and won against paladin by turn 6. Fun deck haha
Adding The Soul of the forest was a great idea! Thank you!!!!
Won first try. Tweaked it a little for cheaper cards overall and worked perfect.
ez game ez life. won even with bad mulligans.
add Soul of the Forest. If you can get a full board then innervate soul of the forest its over.
Thanks Derek! It took me about 8-10 tries, but I got him. At first, I made the mistake of saving Innervate to use in conjunction with SR. Doing so made my hand too full on turn 3 and I often saw my second Savage Roar get burned. I recommend using your innervates early to get all your small minions out of your hand and pray that Arcane Missile RNG doesn't burn you. I got him off back-to-back SR turns 5&6. He cleared my board between turn 5 and 6 but he was down to 4 health and I had Claw/SR in hand and got the win.
Edits for grammar.
Thanks for an effective deck. Was trying to this with rogue, but it was much easier with druid due to innervate (load up board faster) and Naturalise (effective cheap removal)! ;-)
+1!
Managed to sneak past having to use Naturalize and struck him for fatal with a well placed kamikaze Leper Gnome. First try victory, thanks for the deck, Derek.
he definitely does not go to face and ignore your shit. He has cleared my board every game now for 7 games in a row. everything I put down he kills via trade or naturalize. 9 games now... my first 2 turns..naturalize x2, followed up by inner range x2, followed up by imp losion x2..clearing everything I whilst flooding his own board.
Thanks for the deck! For those also missing Murloc Warleader, I substituted them for 2x Dragon Egg, which works out well when Vaelastrasz uses Arcane Missiles.
No love for Old Murk-Eye?
Likely could drop an Arcane Golem for him, but no guarantee of more than 2 murlocs on turn 4-5 to match dmg.
