An updated and highly playable version of the Dragon Paladin deck.
Fixes were quite simple and I haven't had any trouble yet.
If you see any room for improvements, leave them in the comments!
EDIT!: -1 Shielded Minibot +1 Big Game Hunter
Any replacement for that blasted elusive Coghammer? Or is it worth just crafting one ...........
I'd say it's worth the craft, it creates a nice stall, or forces an auto destroy spell from your opponent.
Too many dragons. 7.8/10 - IGN
fairie dragons are nice cards and fit with the dragon concept, but i feel that Zombie Chow and Big Game Hunter is staple in any control deck so i would experiment with that changes.
I tried replacing Zombie Chow for the Faerie Dragon and switching out Emperor Thaurissan for Big Game Hunter and while it was working good in the beginning, the chows simply helped your opponent in the long run late game.
My point is,that you need more early minions, cause of the aggro meta.at least, for those people that laddering with that deck at 15-10 and 10-5.
Zombie Chow often is 2 for 1.Fairie dragon can killed even by Clockwork Gnome. Also,i noticed that you took out the 2nd minibot.this is also 2 for 1 so you can rech mi and late game softly. And one last thing,i feel, after a lot of play testing that emperor, does not fit in paladin decks.but as i told, that's my POV.
-2 Faerie dragon +2 Zombie Chow
fit the curve better (2 mana drop is the dude! :p ), can survive to kill most of the 1 mana summons from hungry dragon (faerie cannot), and healing your opponent does nothing as you ran such a powerful late game.
Maybe, 2 faerie dragon will be better when blacking corruptor will be viable
i tried many many times to change the sludge for azure, but don't seems to work :(
Yeah, the defense from the Sludge Belcher definitely comes in to play better than the Azure or Twilight dragons do. I tried to keep the faerie dragons in play since mages tend to frostbolt a lot of early threats, as well as get the dragon bonus for the Technicians/Rend.
The main problem with this deck, as with every single other Paladin deck i see is the card draw. waiting around hopefully to get Lay on Hands is really annoying but thats the drawback of Paladin i guess. I guess I'll see what to sub out for some card draw.
if youre running hungry dragons and muster.. look into cult master.. or double acolyte of pain.. or acolyte of pain in combination wit blessing of wisdom,, gettting 2 draws is fantastic
Im really enjoying the deck list you created here. I'm giving it a test run in rank 9
