Intro

Hello! My name is Vee; I go by theoddone23. I am a multiple Legend Hearthstone player who recently returned to Hearthstone after a lengthy break. I started playing Hearthstone in September 2015, and I first hit Legend in September 2016. After years of competing, streaming and deck crafting, I took a break in 2019, but I'm back and I couldn't be happier! My highest reached rank so far is #97, and I did it with Mid-Range Shaman back in the day :) I am also a full-time Hearthstone/variety streamer. You can find my stream here if you want to learn more about me and see what decks I play. Also, you can follow my Twitter, where I post all my updates!

About the deck

This decks is a simple version of of a Beast Hunter that profits greatly from sticking minions on the board, mainly with Saddle Up!. The main idea is to create multiple waves of threats with R.C. Rampage (gets rather crazy with Zilliax Deluxe 3000 - with reduced cost and +1/+1 on all other minions!) - until your opponent can no longer deal with you. For some extra value against control decks, there's Hemet, Foam Marksman!

General Mulligan

Very difficult to say, as you want to adapt your hand to your circumstances/which class you play against, but you generally can't go wrong with a combination of Thornmantle Musician and Sneaky Snakes or Barrel of Monkeys. The rest of the cards require some sort of combo or additional protection, but Awakening Tremors is not bad to have as a plan B!

Q&A

Q: How necessary is Zilliax Deluxe 3000 with the buffs you mentioned (with reduced cost and +1/+1 on all other minions)?
A: You can try to go without it, but it's an absolute game changer with R.C. Rampage AND it gets cheaper even when your opponent has minions on board! Take from that what you will!

Q: Do I need Hemet, Foam Marksman?
A: Erm.. no. I got him on day 1 and he's my happy circumstance, but you don't need him per see. The value from Ball of Spiders is mandatory, though!

That's all there is to it for now. I'll continue to update the deck with winrates, tips and replacements, especially after the meta stabilizes after a few days. Let me know what you think in the comments - I'm looking forward to reconnecting with the community :)
