Hi! I used this list to hit LEGEND for the first time. I played all games with this deck from Bronze 10 to Legend. (From Bronze 10 to Diamond 10 I played Archmage Antonidas + Loot Hoarder instead of 2xForgotten Torch but Torches are way better and consistent) Twitter Post

EDIT: Hit Legend again (November 2023) with it. For some reasons it was a bit harder this time but I finally got legend 2nd time with this list.

(NOTE: "FM" was used from B10 > D10, "Burn FM" from D10 > Legend) 

Mulligan:

Overall you want to keep: Mad Scientist, Loot Hoarder, Novice Engineer, Acolyte of Pain, Arcane Intellect

VS Hunter, Paladin, Shaman you can also keep Doomsayer, Forgotten Torch, Frostbolt to stop thier aggresion as soon as possible.

Tips:

  • VS decks without any Healing/Armor OR aggro sometimes you can just throw spells at thier face instead of waiting for Alexstrasza. Especially Fireball and preferably throwing cheaper spells (Ice Lance, Frostbolt, Forgotten Torch) with Spell Damage cards.
  • Using Frostbolt or Fireball (and obviously Forgotten Torch) to clear some problematic minions is sometimes necessary, especially early.
  • Also using Ice Lance/Frostbolt to freeze lifesteal minions/weapons can turn game around in your favour.
  • VS decks like Reno, Handlock, Priest usually I would try to get as much damage as possible + Spell Damage and use Emperor Thaurissan to finish them from 30HP, so they don't have possibility to heal.
  • Don't use Frost Nova/Blizzard on small boards. Calculate the board damage and what they can play next turn. Sometimes it's okay to take some damage if you are not really low HP and use Frost Nova/Blizzard once they play more minions. 
  • Playing Doomsayer early without Frost Nova/Blizzard, can really slow down enemy aggresion. Also playing it sometimes can work as additional HP since enemy will trade it or throw damaging spells to not lose board.

 

!!! IMPORTANT !!! This deck is not easy to pilot. If you have never played this deck it will take some time and loses to get use to it.
