This is my first deck in GvG, I found it to be quite good so far. I am still climbing up the ladder and this is just my testing phase where I try out new things in the process.

Why's and Why's not:-

 

Why Vitality Totem ?

Well, This card is our answer to mages and aggro decks, we can fend off an aggro deck but if we take too long to establish board control our life would be usually at 15- and what better way to gain that back other than Vitality totem. Also can be used to waste your opponent spells.

Why Mana Tide Totem ?

This deck lacks card draw mechanics, That's one of the downsides of this deck. however, Mana Tide helps a lot and can be a game winner if left alone. Also I like it as a personal preference.

Why Earth Elemental ?

I actually replaced my 2 Azure Drake for them, The Earth Elemental is a very very difficult card to deal with. It usually waste 2+ cards just to get rid of it, it stops aggro decks effectively  if they don't have any ways to deal with it.

Why Ragnaros the Firelord ?

I still haven't decided on what our big drop would be best in this deck. I am considering Ragna, Neptulon and Kel'Thuzad. I don't have Dr. Boom yet so that might also be an interesting card.

Why Mech Cards?

I think they provide better synergy for cards needed to work ratio if that makes any sense. I think Murloks are just too demanding in card space and you just have to completely give in if you want it to work.

Why not Rockbiter Weapon ?

Rockbiter is a very good card, but I just don't have the space to be it in, i can't find a card that can be replaced by it.

Why not Crackle ?

Crackle is a very interesting card, it can potentially dish out lots of damage, but the RNG factor is one I really don't like.

Why not Whirling Zap-o-matic ?

This is a great card, but the 2 health is killing it in with the new cards coming up.
