Another inexpensive Rogue deck combining dragon and thief packages, but this time more heavily leaning into the Dragon package in order to improve Candle Breath consistency and leverage Dragon Breeder as a refuel for the mid game. The thief package is retained for two reasons: Underbelly Fence is great, and Dragon's Hoard is a powerful tool for tempo, answers or a finisher.

This is primarily intended as a deck to eke out a couple wins in Casual or low-tier Ranked; with a higher budget, Galakrond Rogue makes more sense, but Galakrond Rogue is dependent on reducing highly powerful cards to zero cost, and Kronx, Togwaggle and Flik are more or less mandatory to be its targets. If you've found a Flik or Waxadred, feel free to replace a Clever Disguise or Dragon Breeder with one of them.

Brief mulligan thoughts:

  • Be cautious of keeping Candle Breath unless you have a Twilight Drake (as Candle Breath into Twilight Drake is great tempo). It serves primarily as a refill, but can be good on turn 3 into slow decks.
  • Mulligan away most cards that cost 4 or more (unless in the situation described above). The ideal is to have any of the 1-drops, but even something like Clever Disguise into Underbelly Fence and a 1 drop you've drawn or found from Clever Disguise is a solid opener.
  • As usual, keep Miscreant on coin every time.
