0) Introduction

This is my version of Quest Rogue using Lackeys to get a huge amount of value. The deck is extremly greedy and is a long way less optimized than another Quest Rogues that are focused on complete the quest and then go face with charge minions.

1) Deck history and versions (that maybe work better)

I've been playing this since Galakrond's Awakening and is my favourite deck actually. I've changed this deck many times as new cards were realesed but it worked really bad till now, as some cards were nerfed. These are: Galakrond, the Nightmare, Secret Passage and the most important The Caverns Below.

The deck came up to my mind when Grand Lackey Erkh was release, as she can generate a huge value, but tthe lackeys are too weak to win the game then I though about Dark Pharaoh Tekahn but it's a Warlock card and to have an infinite source of Lackeys I needed Galakrond, the Nightmare. I tried the deck but was so hard to get 5 copies of the same card and the mechanism was too slow and clumsy the best way I got was with Brann Bronzebeard or Spirit of the Shark and Bloodsail Flybooter the deck also had more combo and battlecry synergy adding Edwin VanCleef and Coldlight Oracle and the cards already in, I also tried to use Hobgoblin as the deck has a lot of 1-Attack minions and the Lackeys.

I tried different control spells in order to have any opportunity matching against aggresive decks and draw more, these ones are Dirty TricksEviscerateShivSudden BetrayalFan of Knives, Walk the Plank and Vanish. Also some spells to get the quest faster and gain extra value Daring Escape

After that Scholomance Academy came out and with it also Potion of IllusionSecret Passage and maybe the card that made deck playable Pen Flinger. I found out that Pen Flinger is the easiest way to get the quest as fast as posible giving some control tools if you have enought spells and much easier to complete the quest, making it possible before turn 5.

Now with the unnerfs to Galakrond, the Nightmare and The Caverns Below you got a lot of more chaces to play this. Additionaly before the unnerfs The Caverns Below transformed the minions into 4/4 which also was bad for some of your own cards like Shield of Galakrond and Heistbaron Togwaggle

2) How to play it?

First of all you got to complete the quest but with the unnerf isn't strictly necessary to do it with the Pen Flinger even if its the easier way, so if you are lucky with the lackeys generated you can do it with them easy and fast generating value, being also possible with Shadowstep and any other minions being Questing Explorer one of the best options so your hand won't be empty. The rol of Secret Passage is also important so sometimes you have to play it in early game looking for cards to complete the quest.

Once you have finish the quest, you have to control the board what it is easy when you have a lot of 5/5 that cost 1 and that also have positive effects for you or go face if you aren't low health. Try to play wisely with your lackeys without wasting your Grand Lackey Erkh so you can put a lot of copies into your deck Togwaggle's Scheme. If you reach this point most of matches are won, but you have to care abour OTKs and some other decks that make impossible for you to win. Most of the time you won't need to Invoke Galakrond to the max point cause the main utility is to have always lackeys in hand.

3) Situational cards that I considered but never played in here

Sonya Shadowdancer to complete the quest

Cloak of Shadows to endure against faster decks

- Coerce to endure against faster decks

Grand Empress Shek'zara to draw most of  Grand Lackey Erkhs

Flik Skyshiv to play against Khartut + N'Zoth Rogue

Platebreaker to play against Linecracker/Armor Druid

Gluttonous Ooze or Acidic Swamp Ooze to play against any weapon based deck espicially Spectral Cutlass Rogue

Now if you liked it please try it out you won't regret it.
