Does Jeeves have a place in this deck?
Any specific reason you think Murloc Raider is better than Grimscale Oracle? Also I find that taking out one Enhance-o Mechano to replace with a Bloodlust wins me games that I usually wouldn't with a second Mechano.
For sure I will try it, question what combination with Shaman's cards will be the best.
Correct title please. It's not aggro, it's 100% midrange in its purest form. Shaman can't even play anything else than midrange!
Challenge accepted.
Why does the title say "aggro shaman"?
It boggles my mind when people don't run at least 1x bloodlust, it's such a game changer.
Bloodlust is situational, but then again so is savage roar. I still think missed oppertunities are heald with this character and that specific card that will be reveals with the release of the new set, and more low costing synergetic non-class specific cards that the shammy could benefit from. perhaps a mech deck utilizing Reincarnate?
bloodlust wins u games that you already won
simply not true, how often playing a shaman do you end up with 5-7 minions on the board with a bunch of them being totems.
If you have been able to establish board control for that long (enough to have mostly everything attack unhindered) then it just speeds up the game. Once u get board control to such a degree there is literally no way for the opponent to make a comeback. Because aoe destroys pretty much the whole shaman board a lot of the time, if you can still have board control after the opponent's aoe spells, you do not need bloodlust. Savage roar is decent in the current meta because its a lot cheaper to combo and gives your hero attack as well. Yes bloodlust will win you the occasional game but when laddering or when playing in tournaments, you want consistency
In control matchups it is common for shamans to have 7 minions on the field and still lose the game. We call them totems.
If you factor in the time to actually draw into bloodlust and the times when it actually gives lethal, its not consistent enough for ranked play. I'd much rather have a 2nd drake because it's more reliable. (is usually actually playable with an effect on the game worth 5 mana)
Many times if you have a full board that the opponent can clear, or if u manage to rebuild it after board clear, you'll win anyway in the long game. Bloodlust is only good for the few occasions when time actually matters such as against miracle rogue/otk mage
I don't have all of the cards for this deck, so I am playing 1x Bloodlust, and it has worked wonders. I have pulled so many games out because of it. I am currently on a huge streak because of this deck (19 -> 14 so far).
shaman has 3 gam winning combos: doomhammer + rockbiter weapon, al akir + any buff and bloodlust.
in my opinion shaman cant be good without at least 2 of these combos, its not even relevant wich ones!
This deck looks more like an aggro deck than an anti-aggro. If it doesn't get the Flametongue Totem early against zoo/hunter, it's toast.
anti aggro? why does it autolose against hunter and almost cant win bar extreme luck against zoo...
What can you replace the Doomhammer with? I don't have it yet, would a second Reincarnate or a perhaps a Windfury fit in as a combo/finisher? Or is Doomhammer 100% necessary?
You'll be hard pressed to fill the role of 16 damage in one card (the only other similar finisher is akir, which I assume you do have). You probably just want to fill in one of the holes it looks like was made to fit Doomhammer in in the first place. I'm thinking another harvest golem or mind control tech, or lightning bolts.
This deck is definitely unfavorable to the midrange priest that is all over the ladder right now.
