Hey guys, I am One Shot (season 7 legend player) and I actually named this deck One Shot. I am almost up to winning 10 consecutive games with this deck and will keep going with it.
EDIT - I swapped out 2 doom sayers for 2 crazed alchemists. This should help speed along the game to lethal.
The deck is pretty easy to use and owns both control and rush decks alike. If it works for you, please plus 1.
Thanks & Good Luck. OneShot
Why don't you have Dark Cultist in there, its great on its own, the death rattle is fantastic, and its great in the 3 slots.
I had to comment on this deck because I found it such a blast to play. I'm not sure if I've gone even with win/loss but the wins have been so satisfying. I've found that people rarely expect the divine spirit/inner fire combos since a number of the early cards (watchers, zombies, cleric, soulpriest, and even deathlord at times) are all used by common priest decks. The cat's out of the bag once you've used one of the two buffs or dropped a lightspawn, but you can still make some good plays. I love how the deck can do well against aggro with any of the early cards but can also apply huge pressure and close out a game quickly with proper comboing.
I play the deck almost exactly as is, I've just swapped out The Beast for Wailing Soul. My reasoning for this is mostly because I don't own the beast but also because Wailing Soul (in addition to being a good body) has awesome synergy with watchers, rag, deathlords in control matchups and chows when you have no soulpriests. Additionally, it is the best counter to a Freeze Mage deck, throwing a wrench in their frost nova/doomsayer combo.
Anyway, props to you for coming up with this deck. I loved fiddling around with these combos in naxx heroics (only way I won half of them) and I'm glad to see there is a viable deck that takes these into account.
3 wins and 3 losses, a loss against 2 Mages, probably RNG and bad card draw in play, very sufficient deck!
This deck is so much fun to play! just been playing casual with it thus far but its fun seeing the opponents scrabbling to try and beat it!
I felt it needed a little more reach, as it's hard to get that last few damage in after you buffed threat has been silenced as priest, so I have replaced -1 Spellbreaker +1 Mind Blast and -1 Crazed Alchemist with +1 Mind Blast. I don't have the beast so replaced with Baron Rivendare and generally he is ignored if you leave him on the board on his own while you opponent goes for face! He also has good synergy with the zombie chow/auchenai if you get lucky.
All the silences are great, its good to deny the hunters cards and traps by silencing webspinners etc
Mind blast is pretty OP. I need to try that out.
I added Stormwind Knight. This addition works wonders in this gimmicky deck.
-1 Spellbreaker
-1 The Beast
+2 Stormwind Knight
Hmm I will have to try that.
I love this deck. It feels so new. I mean it is such a different playstyle. I have played just a couple of games so far, but it is so much fun! Thank you very much!
Sure not a problem!
do you only divine spirit inner fire on your turn to attack? or even if you can't?
would love to see some gameplay
I might divine spirit when optimimal before the attack but I always inner fire on my attack.
The problem is even when you call it oneshot, you should not one-shot only with it. A giant-deathlord (8/8) is sometimes more useful than a possible 30/30+. Never speculate that you get inner fire or divine spirit, you need still to control the board.
Yeah, oasis snapjaw? What about faceless manipulator or something like that?
Oasis still works but remember that you have a limited amount of space in the deck and so only swap a card out that you don't have (IE the best). Faceless manipulator is very situational and can harm your tempo.
which ranks are u playing it at?
Its early in the season but I made legend last season. I have to test this deck out in the top 5 ranks still.
Hey! Just saw your deck and it really looks good and interesting! But I have some questions... Since you are playing with alchemists, why dont you play with ysera/maex/snapjaw? you can really do a lot of damage out of nowhere! Another question is why you dont have stormwind knight? 5 for a 2/5 charge and you can still buff him with divine spirit/innerfire! Never the less, great deck!
There's not enough room really. The flow of the cards has to be semi fast and putting in Ysera, for example, would slow things down quite a bit. You can try it though and let me know how it works.
Should we be trading with minions on the board in the early rounds or just go face?
Trade minions if its worth it for you to give up your own.
