Tempo Mage deck with Pirate Package. This is a deck with a lot of ways to suddenly gain tempo on board and ways to finish off your opponent with burn spells.
Explanation of card choices:
Arcane Missiles - throwback to 2016 where this synergizes insanely well with Flamewaker. A good multi-way ping against Aggro decks.
Pirate package: In all seriousness, Southsea Deckhandrepresents late game burn with Aluneth equipped, but it is just as good a play on Turn 1 to pull out Patches. And Southsea Captain is of course there to pull Patches on Turn 3, and gives Deckhands extra burn damage.
Unstable Portal: Another great way to gain sudden tempo and synergizes well with other cards.
Primordial Glyph: Not only it synergizes with other spell-giving cards but you can also save a cheap spell to play on your Aluneth turn so you are not just spending 6 mana doing nothing to affect the board state.
Notable exclusions:
Babbling Book: Doesn't do enough to affect the board state and the spells it generate are not necessarily useful.
Arcane Intellect: Dead card after Aluneth is equipped. The card draw effect is already taken care of by pirates thinning your deck and Mad Scientist pulling out Explosive Rune.
