Hey everyone. I'm new to this site but I wanted to share my Control Warrior deck with you all. I've been experimenting with Control Warrior in wild for a couple of months now because I haven't seen a viable deck for the wild format. When I went up the ladder I only encountered one or two control warriors, the rest were pirate warriors. I rarely saw warriors to begin with though (only 2% of the time) which I found to be ridiculous.

I took this deck from rank 10 to rank 5 with a 61% win rate. I've encountered a lot of bad match ups at rank 5, so I'm down to a 54% win rate or so. I would import the stats from a deck tracker if I knew how, but I don't. The worst match ups are secret mage and big priest because they can out tempo you pretty hard. Every match up can be won if you get the right cards though.

This deck requires a lot of patience to play but it's really fun if you can pull off your combos. General knowledge about the deck:

1. The deck is very draw dependent so if you don't know what you're playing against you want these cards in your hand: armorsmith, acolyte of pain, blood razor, battle rage (only if you have blood razor already), coldlight oracle, and brann bronzebeard (only if you have coldlight oracle).

2. If you think the person will play an aggro deck (aggro druid/pirate warrior/etc) then you want to mulligan for these cards: armorsmith, drywhisker armorer, acolyte of pain, and blood razor.

3. If you think the person is playing a combo deck (malygos druid, reno priest, cube warlock, exodia mage, etc) then you want to mulligan for these cards: armorsmith, acolyte of pain, blood razor, coldlight oracle and brann bronzebeard (mulligan hard for brann and oracle). Play brann and oracle on turn 6 if the opponent has 9 cards. Try not to burn your own cards, but it's okay if you do because if you destroy 2 or more combo pieces then the game is over. If you don't get the combo until turn 8 or later then you can dead man's hand -> brann -> oracle and sometimes you'll get another oracle the next turn to burn more cards.

4. The cornered sentry, mind control tech and sylvanas windrunner are cards you want to mulligan for against priests and warlocks to steal their demons (warlocks) and their big minions (big priest).

5. Brann Bronzebeard, cornered sentry, and drywhisker armorer will give you 24 armor for 7  mana. This is helpful against decks that are trying to burn you (malygos druid, reno priests and secret mages). If your unidentified shield gives you tower shield +10 then that's 15 armor for 6 mana. This means just because your health gets low, it doesn't mean you're out of the fight. I average 20+ armor a game and there are times where I've had 40 armor and 30 health. You basically become a raid boss, which is awesome.

6. Spellbreaker is used to silence powerful deathrattles like sylvanas windrunner, obsidian statue, and rin, the first disciple.

7. Don't use your dead man's hand too early because it will ruin your draws. Ideally you want to dead man's hand with at least 1 oracle, a brawl and nzoth/grommash hellscream in your hand.

Good luck and let me know what you think of the deck in the comments.
