I love this card. It's amazing in a heavy control deck. There's only one problem... Control decks get annihilated by Jade Druid. :(
Shut up and take my dust.
5 mana 5-6 would be better.
No... nononono. This is probably one of those cards that should NOT have a competitive stat line. The RNG involved in it is waaay to big, this should just be one of those fun but crappy cards
Funnily enough those packs then have synergy with classic Elise.
And can we... keep the pack?
A fun and powerful card that could end up seeing play across the board. Of course, there is still an element of RNG involved and it can be argued that Malchezaar is more powerful, but I like it anyways.
Shuffling a pack of terrible commons into your deck is not powerful.
How is a bunch of random cards not the same pollution as malchezaar? Define "pollution". In my mind it's adding cards you don't want in your deck to your deck. You're going to do that a LOT with this card.
Malchezaar puts 5 random potentially awful cards in your deck that will mess up your draw more oftehn that not. this adds another cheap spell in your deck that adds 5 "random" cards to your handwhich means it gets you ahead in ressources and has the ability to come in clutch when you might need it.
Malchezzar add cards into your deck that cost on average 7 mana, at the beggining of your game, potentially crippling your curve should you draw 2 late game, even if good like Chromaggus or Nefarian, before you can play them and you might die before you can play them.
Elise only adds 1 card, after you play her anytime and theres bound to be 1 good card in a 5 card pack.
Prince Malchezaar + Elise Starseeker in a compact, well designed card, I'm excited!
