Suppose a dragon deck plays 10 dragons. Assuming the ratio is kept constant through your draws you will have 67% to draw one, 22% chance to draw two cards, 11% to draw three. Meh...
Why isn't this card a dragon? Wrathion is a black dragon.
i guess it's because they didn't put him in dragon form, but he should still classify has a dragon so i don't know
i feel like i've seen alot of these cards from user-created forums, maybe different art and stuff but the effect is the same
Totally misread this card and dyslexia wins again.
I wish I could delete my comment instead of getting down voted over and over again. Even after I admit I messed up. I wish Hearthpwn's delete button actually worked.
(see below for original post)
What would happen if I didn't draw a dragon and drew to a full hand? Would I start to discard my deck? What would happen if I played Wrathion with a deck with no dragon cards? Would it even activate?Read the card again. You draw until you hit a non-Dragon, so in both of those cases you would only draw one card.
You could draw one card, you could mill yourself.
This is the opposite, read again.
Its good card, if you dont have luck, you only draw 1 card but can draw much more :D
so in my opinion its a nice card
It says draw until you draw one that ISN'T a Dragon, so the first non-Dragon card you draw is the last one. This means that in your scenario, it will only draw one card.
To put this lighty, its OP as fuck.
I swear I saw this design in one of the weekly fan creation threads.
The Wrathion and Anduin bromance is real
It's call Wranduin :D
Eh, not feeling it. The effect has a lot of unreliable RNG, and you can end up either only drawing one card (not worth the two extra mana over the base stats) or you can end up milling yourself if your deck is too infested with Dragons just so you can make this thing work. Dragon Priest already has enough card draw with Azure Drake and Power Word: Shield anyways.
I have no idea why they did not make Wrathion the rogue legendary since he forged the ultimate daggers for rogues to assist against the corruption of the black dragonflight.
Oh yea that would give rogues the ability to actually use weapons, and we don't want that now do we. Right team 5?
I'm building a deck with this and 29 dragons just for the laughs.
1. Place 29 dragons in your deck
2. Play this
3. ...
4. #1 legend!
The third Azure Drake
Why does Wrathion not count as a Dragon? I see that this is his human form on the card art, but he is a Black Dragon regardless. He is the grandson of Deathwing himself God dammit! I guess the developers didn't want to confuse the players who don't know the lore that much.
