I'll take some second-rate bruisers thank you very much.
I think you could definitely use this card in a taunt and buff deck. We're are seeing a lot of buff something in your hand cards like Stolen Goods and I can see this card comboing together with other cards for some good taunt and armor deck action. Wouldn't say top tier, but it'll get its fair of wins in.
This is exactly like the new paladin legendary, except that armor is better than heal. Is the divine shield good enough to change a rare card intro a legendary?
Stolen goods + Alley Armorsmith, Combo?
Interesting concept, but I'm not buying it.
2 attack gets rekt by priest, and won't impact most boards significantly.
This is a worse Deathlord imo
Although it could be a strong card, if midrange taunt warrior becomes a thing, because warriors have acces to cards such as Cruel Taskmaster
I have the same problem with this that I had with Bloodhoof Brave. 2 Attack on turn 4 is really really bad. Anyone who ever played Bloodhoof Brave extensively knows how bad it is for trading... which is the entire point of a taunt minion.
This thing comes down even a turn later. The only way you ever play a 2 attack minion on turn 5 is if it isn't a 2 attack minion. So the only way this card sees play is in a bolster deck. Exactly.
high-health taunt and nice armor gain feels sweet but i don't know, 2 attack is low, but is still protects you so much, probably completely wins the game against that aggro paladin deck they are pushing, just remains to see if 2 attack is enough
This is so scary to run when cabal shadow priest returns, i wish it was a 3/7 but that would admittedly be too good.
"Let me change your mind"
It is a nice card. "Heals" you for 2+ attack of the minion that it stops.
Could cost 4 mana.
it could have been 4 mana if Blizzard's desire was to break the game
2/7
