I see some value in it, 4 mana 7/7 is not even played that much. And i think paly will get some power buffs like getaway kodo.
I think this card might see some play, as it is an excellent tool versus aggro, but other than that I don't really see it doing anything amazing. It's a very small card with a single purpose, and it's extremely vulnerable to a silence effect. Too bad the paladin legendary slot was used up for this. It's good, but it's not great.
All of the cards using Silence that were prevalent in a meta were nerfed to the point that you don't see them being used a lot anymore, chiefly Ironbeak Owl or Keeper of the Grove. This card is going to be played to it's best potential on curve, and there are few options to deal with an annoying minion such as this on Coin Turn Two, Turn Three or Turn Four. To give you an example, after TGT cycles out of Standard next year, the only way for a Mage to cleanly take it out without triggering it's heal effect is using Ping plus Frostbolt. A mage has to tap dance around a minion in order NOT to trigger an effect on it.
With me, I always compare the power of a legendary by A) How powerful it is, B) How easily it is to remove it from the board, and C) the immediate impact of said legendary. Burnbristle has all these effects in one tidy package. He's a card that was tailor made to play against aggro decks, he can only be effectively be removed on curve against hard removal like Sap/Shadow Word: Pain, and if not dealt with IMMEDIATELY punishes you for leaving him on the board. That, in my mind, makes him an exceptionally strong Legendary minion.
That's true, but then again, who knows what The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan will bring us ^^
If there won't be any reliable silences though in the expansion there's still Potion of Madness, which makes this card considerably worse.
But you'd still get Burnbristle back and get to use his ability once. Better idea would be to steal another weenie minion and do a two for one trade.
Shouldnt it be a pirate??
i believe priest players will add Cabal Shadow Priest to their deck because of the new uupcoming cards and this card is easy to steal by Cabal Shadow Priest without extra effort
Look at this dude looking like Junkrat's dad over here.
This is obviously meant to be buffed.
I feel like they're pushing buff-heavy Paladin decks in general this expansion
Ok, so, now we just need to add 1-2 more mana cost and windfury with charge XD
Drain effect finally in Hearthstone. Greetings from every other TCG. Drain helps making the meta slower, pls moar.
Actually we have drain effects, to say the warlock succubus that's 1/4 and pretty easy to buff with demon fire. Though ya that is only 1 XD.
i think this card is okay, not great but it aint bad either. You can compare it to shielded minibot which as an insane card for paladin, the heal early game i dont think it would be that relevnt unless you are against a hyper aggro deck and late game the stats arent good unless you are running a buffpaladon which isnt good either. my only problem wih this card is that its legendary, i see it easily being epic or even rare, 1 copy of this card in your deck is very few to make it relevant in my opinon
This card is such a meme, yes you can buff it, but you can't buff it at turn 3.... You play it, it gets killed by hero power + something else, it's so easily removed. Some people are comparing this to Annoy-o-Tron . This is nothing like Annoy-o-Tron.... Annoy-o-Tron has a chance of costing 1-mana with Mechwarper . This card is not going to be seeing any play, except maybe in some aggro divine shield type of deck. But that's only for fun decks, for a serious deck in climbing ladder, this card will never be seen.
You cant tell me you would play a Shielded Minibot on turn 3 and feel bad about it, espeically one with taunt and heals
its a great card, too bad you can only put one.
so to be clear is it when this minion attacks something only? or can a minion attack it and it'd still get triggered?
