Card Text
At the end of your turn, get two random Dream cards.
Flavor Text
Ysera rules the Emerald Dream. Which is some kind of green-mirror-version of the real world, or something?

1) Alexstrasza. very unique card that can be used for healing, for pushing and for Reno Jackson deny.
2) Sylvanas Windrunner. A great utilite that can be combed with different spells like Power Overwhelming or Naturalize for X mana Mind Control against heavy creatures. Also forces your opponent to do weird tradings or spend silence.
3) Ragnaros the Firelord. Read my review.
4) Ysera. Same.
5) Cant definitely say about neutral ones, but in the new meta may become The Black Knight if i get or craft him.
You forgot about Leeeeroy !
"As meta slows down in WOG expansion, she may actually be not so slow"
RIP META SPEED UP A LOT
noways its AGGRO vs aggro control barely stand a chance
Also I think it needs to be mentioned that Nightmare works differently than Power Overwhelming. Becauseif a minion is PO'd it will die at the end of your turn. It can be used for trading, lethal damage or just activating a deathrattle.
On the other hand, Nightmare can be used in all of the situations mentioned above and it can be also used in defensive way. It destroys the targeted mininon at the START of your NEXT turn. This makes some cases useful for this card.
-If you need one more turn (like you just draw your Reno Jackson, or your opponent will die from fatigue damage, Anyfin Can Happen, You need to protect your minions, you name it) you can buff your taunt minion with nightmare so it can be a giant taunt and block small minions until the next turn. In addition to this you can pop a Doomsayer behind the taunt so you can actually clear the board.
-Another thing is it CAN target enemy minions, so you can buff a minion to Shadow Word: Death or Big Game Hunter it.
-Lastly if you are in a desperate situation, it can be used as a worse Corruption on a minion as a removal. Best can be used on a can't attack minion like Ragnaros the Firelord to not take 5 more damage.
In conclusion, despite many thinks this is the worst dream card of 5 but I think it is as flexible as Dream.
You play first Doomsayer in order to apply Nightmare so the Doomsayer effect will trigger first.
Just for note for the new players. Dream cards:
Dream: Get enemy minions(taunt, dangerous, unpleasant) out of play or use your battlecry minions again.
Nightmare: buff that helps with trading or lethal damage
Laughing Sister: minion that trades with enemy stuff, just another creature to play.
Ysera Awakens: Mass removal, sometimes lethal option
Emerald Drake: High mana-valuable threat
if you didnt get dream 80% of the time i would love this card so much more.
Nice, I was just thinking to myself today how cool a Golden Ysera would be. Thank you, Tavern Brawl pack.
nexus champion sarad or ysera? in general.
Ysera. Always Ysera.
Unless you're up against Priest...
I have both, and I say it depends.
I use them both on my control decks (Nexus-Champion Saraad can be also used in tempo or midrange decks) they are good in different aspects. Let's start with Ysera;
Pros:
- She is a hard ass minion to remove due to high health and 4 attack (I'm looking at you priest).
- The dream cards provide great tools to control decks.
- She needs to be removed immediately by your opponenet or you will have a good advantage over him/her. Even if she is removed, the card that she gave will probably turn the tides for you.
- Dragon synergy.
Cons:
- She is 9 mana and most of the time she is so slow and only control decks can afford to run her.
- Sometimes you don't want to fill your hand to burn your own cards. (becaus you can't use your Nightmares for nothing, duh.)
Nexus-Champion Saraad:
Pros:
- He can be considered as Mini-Ysera that can be played earlier.
- There is a great variety in spells so unlike dream cards you can get more tools.
- 5 mana 4/5 stats are not bad as a legendary considered with 6 mana 5/5's.
- Due to being 5 mana, he can be used on more deck archetypes.
- He needs to be removed or becomes a huge threat as giving more spells.
- Also eats up a removal and your other big minions become more dangereous.
Cons:
- He is most of the time 7 mana 4/5 because you want the effect and this is preeeety bad.
- You need to trigger the effect unlike the Ysera and this cost you 2 mana default in each turn.
- Not every class uses their heropower in every turn so this can be considered as a con.
- Most of the time he gives you one spell and die. And if this spell is useless, you can lose a lot of tempo.
- There is a huge chunk of bad or useless spells in the game so if he gives them for you basicly he is a trash for that game. (Like Blade Flurry for Priest).
TL,DR: In conlusionYsera is better in general but slow. Nexus-Champion Saraad has more potential but more random.
I like free fish! (aka, mana tide totem the only real shaman card draw)
ai dreem an da worl trembels :DDDDDDD
Hi people,
I just have got a Golden Malygos from a pack, and I'm thinking of turning in dust to craft a Ysera. What you think about this? It`s my actual dilemma.
Thanks!
I love Ysera in Priest decks but thats about it. Malygos is only used in a handful of deck also though, so it is really about what you want to play.
if you kept the golden malygos , you did it well
Hi folks,
I just have turning in dust a King Mukla, Tinkmaster Overspark, Skycap'n Kragg and Gazlowe to craft my Ysera and I'm very happy with. Now I've great decks like Dragon Priest and Malylock. Malygos it's really a great guy!!!
Thanks for all thoughts!!!
I dream and the world trembles
Easily my favorite legendary in the game. In long drawn-out games few cards will give you as much value as this one if left alive, and with 12 health it's not easy to get rid of. Additionally, it provides immediate value the turn you play it, meaning that even if it gets removed, you get at least one super-overpowered dream card out of it (or if you're me, laughing sister. #neverlucky) Unfortunately, this card is very slow, and in some aggro matchups you may never even get a chance to play it. Therefore, only the decks that are good against aggro already, like Control Warrior and Control Priest, can afford to run it. When I do get the chance to play this card, I always do, and I always revel in the opportunity to steal it from my opponents with Shrinkmeister/Cabal or Sylvanas. Truly the ultimate value card.
