Murloc pala is a control deck.....
Summoning 1/1 murlocs is super counter to Anyfin, and if you're using Anyfin in your own deck with this card, well, prepare to summon 7 1/1s for 10 mana. The only way Anyfin really works is with Old Murk eye, bluegill warriors, and murloc warleaders. I don't really see how this makes them cancer

Is this supposed to be an April Fools Joke? I mean how how weird this card is (as well as stuff like the fake path notes) suggests so, but knowing Blizzard is trying to push a Paladin Murloc theme, suggests that maybe the timing of revealing this card was bad. I still don't understand why Blizzard is trying to push a Paladin Murloc theme. It just doesn't make sense.
If we work under the assumption that this card is real, I don't know if this is good or not. I mean, Paladin's didn't have their own 1-drop (besides Light's Justice) and this follows the obligatory "1/3 for 1 class card with upside" card (compare to Northshire Cleric, Mana Wyrm and Tunnel Trogg). Summoning 1/1 Murlocs as opposed to 1/1 Recruits is synergistic in Murloc decks, but is anti-synergistic with cards like Quartermaster and Warhorse Trainer. It's not like the other 1/3 for1 class cards where you can put them in any deck and expect them to work. This card really only works in Murloc decks. Theoretically, summoning a 1/1 Murloc is better than a 1/1 Recruit in a Murloc deck, but this card and the 1/1 Murlocs will not work very well with Anyfin Can Happen since it will be possible for the Anyfin to summon this Murloc and/or the 1/1 Murlocs summoned by your newly acquired Hero Power.
There is a Deck that a lot of people are discounting here that this card fits perfectly into
Tempo Paladin
No, you read right. Tempo, With divine shield and buffs, you have the possibility to generate huge board swings in turs 2 and 3 with Argent Protector and Seal of Champions. And of course, Murlocks fit this role perfectly, both with this new card and the other murloc buff cards available to the class.
The deck even had mi to late game sustainability with Murloc Knight generating value for you late,
There are murloc decks outside of the norms of Agro or Combo, and I hope that people can see this and experience fun games like I've had playing the deck :)

WHY is this card not a neutral card? I don't get it... why do tehy have to bind murlocs to a specific class? -.-
why so all you see every game with only murlocs by every class priest is gonn buff it from 1/1 to 20/20 and crap
Simple answer is because it doesn't change the hero power of the Paladin that drastically. It just changes the type to Murloc.
This card is not strong but already get all the hate because it is a paladin card~

There is absolutely no reason that this shouldn't have been a Shaman card instead. Also, what's with Paladin getting a reveal every couple days?
Guess we know why Paladin decks swarm the meta with cards that have too much value - Blizzard devs themselves favor the class.
Paladin is probably getting the most reveals because it's the class that's hurt most by the shift to Standard. By showing more cards for them, you get a better idea of the direction Blizzard plans to take them in the new format so that people who play the class aren't left feeling too disenfranchised by the fact that they're losing all of their early game.
I think the idea is that he polymorphs all the recruits into murlocs.
