I do complain when this falls out of ram wrangler, because i always have a full board if i do. Or i get hungry crab
Came for the achievement. Stayed for the acid.
On a side note, why does this travesty cost 7 mana? Ridiculously overcosted in an attempt to appease aggro haters I'm assuming. At least buff it so it's worth the cost.
This would be semi-playable if it cost half as much mana.
Man Ive gotten this card so many times out of my Confessor Paletress , with the opponent pinging my board to death the turn after. Its really sad because such occurence might make Paletress a non-viable tournament card :(
I really wish this was like a 1/5 instead. It's cool as hell but just too fragile. Why even have more than 1 damage? To avoid Shadow Word: Pain and Cabal Shadow Priest? Meh.

I be like Acidmaw + Unlease the hounds or Powder shot or Mad Bomber. Also if it comes out of a Unstable portal the Arcane Missiles are awesome
Twisting Nether is 8 mana for pretty much the same thing, in one card. Poison Seeds - Starfall is 9 mana 2 cards. Those don't get used either, so why would Acidmaw?
Sure if he comes from Portal and you happen to have missiles congrats! But that's not something you can ever count on to happen, especially not in hunter decks.
Here's an interaction I've been thinking about: If you have Acidmaw on board and Snipe, and your opponent plays Lord Jaraxxus, do you automatically win? Worth finding out I think!

Looks like they tested it in this thread.
Jaraxxus changes from minion to hero first, then cues snipe. He survives snipe.
People seem to be trying this on control decks only, this is much more viable on midrange. Really, just the huge amount of tiny minions in midrange is enough to make it work.

The effect is alright but its stats in ratio to its cost is terrible. I'm laddering with Lock and Load Hunter at the moment and getting this guy with Lock and Load is just a stab in the back. Its applications are narrow and uses none.
I think this card is very underated. It allows you to trade cards with near 0 value for cards with 30 mana cost combined.
Got this card from an Unstable Portal. Works amazing paired with Arcane Missiles against handlock :)

Let's be clear about this: ACIDMAW isn't even good enough to be the sidekick.
The worst legendary ever. If you play it against a mage she will just destroy any minion you drop using her hero power. You dont need to be very smart to see what will happen playing this card against a mage.
The mana cost is high and the effect is just fine. I like the idea of 2 legendarys working as one big card, but blizzard should be ashamed about these cards. Now the hunter players have 2 legendaries that doesnt worth half legendary.
We could have Skoll for example as a real legendary, a spirit beast with a heal mechanic would be great. But these worms are terrible. I fell so unlucky having this card in my collection.
Blizzard developers obviously dont play hunter to understand the playstyle of the class. A beast deck still cant win against a facetard hunter and the nerfs in buzzard, unleash the hounds destroyed any smart idea about a decent deck. It seems like we will have more time with huntards and all the hunters will have to play casual or other classes. Crap Legendaries a useless epic non beast immunity for what card is everything we need to keep playing our favorite class.
The only thing we can hope is the evolution in joust mechanic and hunter lock and load combos. Maybe The next dungeons adventures can bring us more happiness, maybe...
acidmaw is terribe but dreadscale is decent(like a mini baron geddon), dreadscale is good in decks that have strong mid/ late game .it can also kill al the spectral spider and imps without killing the egg
Because killing everything with 1 damage isn't fun
