- Void Crusher can destroy itself. (Source)
Inspire: Destroy a random minion for each player.
We like to call him "Wesley".

ok so i'm playing this for 6 mana and investing on a hero power for 2 more mana to kill a random minion and risk this dying are you crazy ?? like... what's the point ???
I don't know what deck this would want to be in. It seems too expensive for zoo, it's effect potentially hoses hand-lock - maybe demon-lock but another higher cost demon that may ruin Voidcaller > Mal'Ganis/Doomguard when you don't want him might not be great.
So if you "inspire" it, it goes on a blind rampage and kills a random oponent and possibly itself or one of its allies?
Summoning demons is risky business. Just ask Fizzlebang
More Trolden videos incoming.
Combos with Nerubian Egg. And what the hey, let's give a shoutout to the Wisp while we're at it.
Paying two extra over a Lost Tallstrider (which isn't a played card on its own) for a symmetrical, RNG-based effect sounds incredibly risky. One out of every N times you play the Void Crusher, it will single-handedly lose you the game. Not a lot of cards can instantly lose you the game; the two examples that come to mind are Millhouse Manastorm and Majordomo Executus. Now, there are things you can do to control the risk. Decks that play lots of small minions - like Zoolock - will have a lower chance to lose anything important, but there's always the risk that the Crusher will just kill itself.
If you have expendable tokens like Imps and your opponent does not, then this will usually be a useful card. If it kills one enemy minion without substantial losses then you went 2 for 1 as the 5/4 body demands an answer. However, practice anger management techniques in advance if you intend to use this card. It will be infuriating when it inevitably kills itself that one time on your board of 5 imps.
still good. so what if it can kill self if it can trade with a solitary Rag on your opponent's side
Would it not make more sense to use Siphon in that case
I think it all depends on which cards you put in the deck and the situation you are in.
In this case,
Siphon Soul destroys Ragnaros and you gain 3 life, for 6 mana.
Void Crusher destroys Ragnaros and (a chance to hit self OR) your other minions such as Nerubian Egg, Voidcaller, etc.) for it's Inspire cost which is "2"(+6 if played this turn). And yes, you draw a card... "Inspire". If I'm not gonna draw a card, I'd be playing another 6/6 minion instead thanks to my current hero power(Lord Jaraxxus). Or maybe not because he was summoned by Voidcaller ^^.
So my answer to your question is... No, I'd rather play this than Siphon Soul. 3 Life is cool but draw a card or a 6/6 is better imo.
In your original comment u did not mention a board if only the fact it can kill its self it the case it kills The 6/6 you paid 8 mana for Destroy a random enemy minion take 2 damage and draw a card Instead of Destroy a minion draw a card and gain 1 health assuming we both tap or just pay 6 mana instead of 8 for destroy a minion gain 3 health
I'm having a difficult time following what either of you guys are saying... :/ Maybe some more punctuation would help, or maybe different wording for clarification?
So this one is great to combo with Implosion.
And works with zoo type of deck but sometimes it might slow you down cause it can destroy your best minion so you will keep it in your hand and wait for it to either kill itself or be killed.
Worst-case scenario, this is an 8-mana spell that says "Destroy a random enemy minion. You draw a card and lose 2 life."
Huh. That's a really bad worst-case scenario, given that it's Deadly Shot + Life Tap for 3 mana more. Obviously you'll want to play this when your opponent only has one or two minions on board and you've got a lot of Imps and/or other small dudes, and even then the Crusher has a chance of destroying itself. Then again, when it works, it's a complete blowout.
This card is hard to judge...
I guess it's the time for warlocks to get card which will change cost when minions die. It would have perfect synergy with this, guaranteed -2 mana cost always.
You forgot the "You can't use your hero ability this turn, if you have you can't play this card" part.
Quite nice big threats removal, but can it destroy itself?
What if he won't like 4 times in the row? He can close the game.
Doesn't necessarily have to.
Good card for Zoolock....Thaurissan one turn, next turn Imp-losion and This and hero power, odds is high you sacrifice an imp for a big target, nice
Otherwise trash.....I mean.....Randomness that could lead to self destruction is simply stupid.....warlock has already got Siphon soul and the ultimate removal twisting nether....why would we need this....
Siphon Soul doesn't threaten a body. It's basically waste your entire turn destroying a minion. Which is fine for handlock, but not great for demon/zoo-lock which needs tempo.
