not good enough for constructed but great arena card

The main problem I see with this card is that of other inspire cards. It needs to survive a turn if you want to play it on curve and get value out of it. And it doesn't matchup well against Piloted Shredder the top 4 drop in the game.

At six mana you can clear a smal threat, and get a body, but all that really means is this would be worse than flame elemental at that cost. Still, if they can't get rid of it, you basically have a perma-weapon on your side.
I guess it won't fit in the current druid decks, but maybe Blizzard is pushing into Beast Druid :)
Let's talk a little bit about this cards as a lot of people seems confused.
Scenario:
- Coin / Innervate / Savage Combatant = 5/4 body on borad, turn 2 hero power x3 damage and 1 heal
- Innervate / Savage Combatant - Turn 3, Hero power + Savagery (3 mana total) = Clear vs aggro = x2 3 damage on board + 5/4 body
- Savage Combatant on board + Claw + Hero Power + Savagery = x2 5 damage clear on board (one could deal face damage) for 3 mana = Value and Tempo gain
- Beast sinergy = Druid of the Fang on turn 5 - Tempo gain
And this are just some line of play that comes to my mind.
For anyone that still has doubts:
- Fire Elemental = 6/5 deal 3 damage for 6 mana
- Savage Combatant = 5/4 + Hero power for a total of 6 mana / deal 3 damage (Has to attack taunt in case), heal hero for 1 / 6 mana.
This card will spawn new kind of Druids and is in my opinion very strong.

quite interesting, this card plus the new legendary that gives druid 2 dmg 2 armor on their hero power this card would make it 4 damage.
not sure the usefulness but could be fun to mess around with.

Honestly though, Druid can have whatever they want because they have the Growth and the Vate
Looks like a pretty cool card, I also like you can get this out a piloted skygolem wich is pretty neat.
I feel like if this was a battlecry minion instead of inspire it would see much more play than what it looks like now :/ but alas...
or turn 1 (coin innervate) and be able to kill almost anything the opponent plays easy for a few turns.
also great after a taunt turn(5 claw/sludge), bc you can kill of the damaged minion or they have to attack into sludge next turn
Not a bad card by any means but I think what druid really needs to make beast decks viable is some sort of mana reduction beast minion (prefferably on 2 mana - a druids weak point for minions). I mean Blizzard seems to be pushing the beast theme for druid so why don't they give us good cards to encourage using them.
Without more beast synergy for druid I just can't see it being played as a class deck. Demons, mechs and dragons all have better synergy cards than beasts for druid.
Warlock has Voidcaller, Pally has a dragon reduction minion. Mechs decks have mechwarper. Why shouldn't druid get cheaper beasts? (even with innovate - for that crazy turn 3-4 Malorne.
I'd say they could make it a neutral card for hunters but f**k that class lol
Even if it doesn't make the cut in constructed it will still be an excellent arena pick for druid.

(Seriously though, hopefully we start to see some variation in Druid decks).
