Thaurissonho
Auto-include in every deck that relies on combos or in basically in every Control deck. Great card IMO.
this cards is OP ,guess you have 9 card in your hand (9 mana reduced in total...) and it unlocks so many crazy combos
Best time to use this card?
As Freeze Mage before the Apeshitstorm of Fireballs and Ice Lances
Turn 6 lol
Actually the only legendary card that survived in most decks after BRM and it's a shame cause adventures bring so many useless legendaries in the end.
Great card but very overrated. Doesn't fit into every single deck, really only good for handlock, maybe control warrior, and maybe ramp druid. I don't have handlock or CW so I've tried him in druid and control pally and I usually don't get more than 5 mana reduction out of him. That sounds great, but a lot of the time I end up making the same plays I'd normally make but having that 1 awkward mana leftover. It's rare for this card to have a significant impact but I'm probably not using him in the right deck or situation.
IMO Sylvanas has a much bigger presence than he does. Certainly Thaurissan demands an answer more than Sylvanas, but it's as easy as just removing him whereas with Sylvanas your opponent has to work around her deathrattle. In some cases I'd even prefer sky-golem over him.
He is insane in Combo Warrior, dude...
he is insane in ALL combo decks. Useless in rush and relatively bad in ramp up druid due to loosing your hand very early.
At one point as a Mage I had thaurussan on the board for two turns. After the second turn I alextraxa'd my opponent for 7 mana, then dropped bloodmage thalnos, then double frost bolted and double ice lanced, all for less than 10 mana. He died btw
Opens ups so many crazy wombo combos, my personal favorite is Turn 9: Thaurissan Turn 10: Feugen/Stallag and Void Terror for a 14/14 and two 11/11's
Would be much better if it was multi-functional
Even better if it was multi-functshunal
one of the best cards, especially with handlock
Where?
OH now I see
He should trigger at the start of your turn rather than at the end, like Nat Pagle. As it is he's the best legendary in the game, and even Dr. Boom doesn't come close.
We're all entitled to our opinions, but yours is wrong. Dr. Boom has place in every single type deck, Thaurissan has no place in aggro
