Six mana 5-5 isn't the worse stats, obviously it's ability is pretty bad for a top deck--but better this then an early game card. If you're top decking at all, the mana reduction isn't going to matter anyway. At that point, you probably just want a card.
Bolvar is probably the worst one though.
nah prep still worst
its a must kill card for the opponent. I summon other elites after this as their costs are reduced and opponent has less silence like spells.
Amazing if you have a full hand, even better if he survives a turn. Hes good Silence/Removal Bait because nobody wants to live but hes amazing Value because you ALWAYS get to use his effect as reliably as Ragnaros the Firelord or a Battlecry card but, if you luck out and he survives another turn, he continues to buff your hand..... His animation is cool too although his Entrance shout is a bit oddly worded, i don't know if anyone else is bothered by how he shouts: "By the Power of Ragnaross I have the Power" but something about the way he sais it just irritates me for some odd reason.
I HAVE THE POWER!
Do we have a nickname for this guy yet? His name is so long by the time I get to the end of it I already got OTK'd.
Most call him Emperor, what about Emp? Don't confuse it with Imp.
The Russian, He-Man.
Emperor B.
B stands for....
T-Man...since it rhymes with He-man, and he uses that battlecry.
Ugly art for a card that will probably be seen in every match from now on. His wife is way better. In fact, the most beautiful so far.
Well, he is OpieOP if you can pull him right away on 6th turn, sure. But if you topdeck him with no cards in your hand he is 5/5 for 6 mana.
if he's out for 1 turn, doing good
2 turns? game over
Another AMAZING expansion ruined by a single card.
Strong, but not for every deck, IMO it's been overhyped because cheating it out with wild growth and innervate will decrease its impact as it destroys your hand size. Also for every time it increases tempo, there will be another time it causes significant mana leak instead. Still very strong and i like it a lot.
Saying it's bad to Innervate out because it lowers your handsize could be said about ANY card you Innervate. It's a great card to scuttle out early. If it has a two turns to tick n a ramp druid's hand early in the game it's pretty much GG. Don't overextend against decks with great board clear but saying it's a problem because you might empty your hand too early isn't really a thing. If you can get your enemy down faster then go for it. You don't slow down your tempo because you're afraid you will have extra mana crystals. He also draws premium removal for a 5/5 body instead of your fatties.
I'm saying its more of a detriment with Tharussian because then his effect is applied to fewer cards, and i was far from saying he wasn't a good card or even saying you shouldn't cheat him out, just that it won't be as strong as some might think. Mana leak is having a crystal or two left over, so often ill find myself playing the card i would have anyway without being able to do anything else and the 1 less cost does nothing for me. Im not dumping on the card im saying he isn't as overbearing as i initially thought.
this will probably prompt druids to start playing Nourish after cheating it out with innervate on turn 4, as there arent that many turn 4 cards can deal with this. its almost certain that innervate + emp followed by nourish will be game over
