Wow... so many people cry about the card...
I can find ALOT of class cards that are better. also, mages would be terrible in standard without this card.

And death can kill 10 mana minions...
Flamewaker can spit out a few avenging wraths for free
this card is basically a Evolved Kobold but it has 2 more health and cost 1 less mana and adds the spell damage to passive spells ~.~ it is %^&* insane!

last time i checked it was shamans and warriors
So the card is completely fine because it's not in the top two classes? last time i saw a card that was broken it carried an entire class for months (Call of the Wild)

This should really, really be a 2/3.
It would still be a great card, but as of now it's just absurdly OP.
While that may not sound like much, it would be far more reasonable to remove.
Ofc that won't happen, because Blizzard's idea of a HS balance patch is to nerf a card out of play or ignore it until it rotates out...where it will continue to be a problem in wild.
Still mind boggling that they never nerfed Dr. Boom.
Wonder what will happen to mage once this rotates out, freeze mage is very meta dependand so if that's not good mage might end up like priest

The second most mandatory card to go in a tempo mage deck after Fireball. If you don't have it, forget about playing a decent Tempo Mage deck. It's almost single-handedly the backbone of mage in Standard right now. They'll be needing a significant replacement after BRM gets rotated out of that mode if they don't want to end up like Priest currently.
Freeze Mage will still be viable using just the Core Set.

I'd try to explain why this card is fine, but it will fall on deaf ears. Plus this will get down voted to hell anyways.

Except its not fine. You get free 2 damage for each spell, a 2-4 3 drop which is difficult to remove for most decks. It is op, and there s no denying it. Had it been a 5-7 drop, it would ve been fine. Had it delt 1 damage, it would ve been fine. But no, its an early game card that is difficult to remove, and essentially gives you an extra mana crystal every time you cast a spell. And again, if it was triggered by 5+ cost spells, it would ve been alright, but its triggered by all spells, thus doubling the value of 1 cost spells, nvm the coin synergy.
In addition to all those things, it is also extremely unfun to play against, because it is almost always guaranteed to give back its full value and more. It is a low risk high reward card, which is horse shit.
Just a few more months before I never have to see this card again.
No... It will remain in the hell hole we call wild forever and ever. Cancer cannot be cured and standard is just plain dull, either aggro shamans or c'thun decks all over the fucking place.
