Jesus, that's some power creep over Prince Taldaram...
Not quite. It costs 4 Mana instead of 3 Mana. That greatly reduces its combo potential. Still very strong though!
There is certainly potential for some sweet (or frustrating) combos with a card like this. Extremely hard to judge its power level in isolation.
Great. By being one mana less you just enabled even more idiotic combos.
whuuuaaaatt?
I love the flavour and the puns on this set.
Tho, this card and Convincing Infiltrator made me think that Faceless can't actually shapeshift, they just cover theirself with cheap wood masks and nobody can't tell the difference.
I'm not sure about the card, I feel that any deck that needs to play Faceless Manipulator already can play Faceless Manipulator. One Mana is not that huge of a difference, specially in Wild, but I guess that if you don't care about the minion stats is strictly better.
People who keep saying one mana doesn't make a difference don't have a very good grasp on the game...
It obviously made a difference. But if you already commited to play a Combo that runs Faceless, that is going to be a Meme deck, cause is a deck that does wonky stuff like, for example, have a Combo that involves play Faceless; then is not much of a difference cause you are going to have a lot of ways of cheating Mana anyway.
And there is already a lot of more efficient ways of coping minions. You are obviously not going to run this in a deck to copy an enemy minion. So yeah. If you only copy the minion for the effect, is strictly better, as I said. But dosn't allows you to do anything that you couldn't do already.
The best scenario I can think about this card is run it as if was a Neutral 4-Mana Unearthed Raptor and even then dosn't seems that crazy to me.
It's a cool card at least.
Why?
"anyway heres wonderwall"
Many new combos will be born in wild
Hey Faceless Manipulator, you got a brother?
No, no, no! That's a totally different minion! *hides tentacles*
I think they're in on this joke too - it looks like there is a tentacle around his neck if I'm not mistaken.
Prince Taldaram is kinda sus
Now that's an interesting card.
Basically Prince Taldaram but costing 1 more mana and not having the deck building restriction.
