Imagine play Tony, King of Piracy, The Fires of Zin-Azshari, kill Tony and play Steamcleaner
I'm trying to find all abuses of this:
Myra's Unstable Element
Explore Un'Goro + Steamcleaner
Bladed Gauntlet + Forged in Flame
Keening Banshee
Soul Rend
Malchezaar's Imp +The Soularium+Hand of Gul'dan
Arch-Villain Rafaam + Steamcleaner
I dont think "hit it very hard" and "forged in Flame" work like that. The draw is based on the attack of the weapon, not your hero's attack.
Thank you for the good point. Replaced with bladed gauntlet.
Myra's Unstable Element fun
This is going to make me never want to play this game again. Do they realize that this card is just simply not fun and not a good design whatsoever?
Wow there's so many dangerous things this card can do in wild. Tog is still going to be better in druid because druid can play 100 mana in a turn and doesn't care about card mana cost anymore, but Tony+Myra's already strikes me as toxic.
What happens if this card gets stolen via something like Shadow Madness? Do the decks swap back? And then if tony dies on the stolen side, the decks are permanently swapped?
As I understand Aura effects, anything that messes with the Aura on board should revert it.
Be it a remove (direkt or indirect) a silence or w/e, when the Aura is gone the effect is gone.
I doubt it's any different in this case and if it is it will be fixed
The decks would not swap back in the same way Nerubian Unraveler's cost effect wouldn't go away if the opponent were to steal it. There's nothing player specific about it.
It's a pirate with an aura effect, so you can probably cheat it out somehow and then play Myra's Unstable Element. This card will most likely break the wild at some point...
Wow this is insane... Just cycle deck and play this.. This is so wrong wtf.... This by itself FUCKS slower decks.. Just cycle and FUCK them... So damn wrong
It has no effect on the opponents Hand, so everybody who isnt stupid keeps a removal in his hand.
That would leave you with nothing ;)
I see i tought it was.. Swap other players decks.. Well so it's fine
Worst card in the history of the game.
You & peolpe who gave you "+" are so funny...
This is not a Battlecry effect.
Case closed.

So, let's say, in Standard, that I play The Jailer and I lose my deck, and then I play Tony King of Piracy, and my opponent can't kill it cause, well, is Immune. Then what?
I already had to live in a world when Blizzard bans and destroy Wild cards cause they forget about their existence. (I would never forget you, Test Subject) but there isn't a moment in the year with less expansions in the same rotation than this.
Is most likely not even good, cause you have to reach turn 10, and play a 10/10 without impact. But it feels so wrong when it happens, and is a Neutral Combo. I can see Rogue doing it in turn 10 with the New weapon that refresh Mana without to much problem.
if you're in a position where you can play The Jailer, a card that technically does nothing when played, and not die on the following turn, you were already winning with or without tony.
I dont agree. Paladin had a decent success with the Jailer and dropping two 5/5's the same turn. You were then on a very tight clock to kill them (and they also had a very tight timeframe to kill you).
Tony King of Piracy would cement your position on board (by removing any options they have in deck to kill your board) and give you an extra win condition + prevent fatigue.
I'm not sure it will be all that viable, but it's definitely a possibility.
