This is way better than most people realize imo. If you're pressuring early enough, your opponent will never have time to waste 6 mana on 2 useless 3/3s, and if he removes it hes gonna have to deal with those 3/3s! The only other option is silence, but still leaves a 5/4 on the board.
No matter how you look at it, your opponent will always have to trade 2 for 1 to completely deal with this, always a lose-lose situation for them, this is VERY good. I can see this being played in aggro decks to top the curve, really cool design on this one!
Update: ok i forgot polymorph does deal with it 1 for 1, but who even runs polymorph effects these days? Doubt it will be widespread enough to make this card bad.
Yeah, I think people are forgetting against control, tempo wants to dictate board swaps
This card doesn't really impact the board and gives the opponent some value..... If this summoned the 3/3 even if the oppone already played them it was OK but like that it's just a vanilla card with no real effect on board and actually gives opponent stats.... Best case is that you play it on curve and opponent just play one and then you get your and you gain some tempo... Yeah like that is fine to keep board presence but if you playbthis after tourn 5 it's just not worth it... Unless you are against big priest and you make your opponent minion pool "dirty" with some lame 3/3 minions
Even if this whiffs, it's a 4 mana 5/4 😎
which wasnt good even in classic.
Neither is two 3 mana 3/3s
Finally an actually interesting new wrinkle to a card. You can also use this to ambush fill someone's hand to mill them. They have to immediately play mediocre minions or you will get them later.
And it's a deathrattle minion that doesn't have some obnoxious combo potential when revived or doubled or randomly summoned or evolved. You must play it, then it must die to work.
Let me guess, this is the freebie Legendary.
So the bots will be summoned from the opponent's hand onto the player's if the minion dies with both bots in the opponent's hand?
Yep.
When you play Pozzik you give two 3-Mana 3/3 to your opponent, and then they had to choose spend 6-Mana on two textless 3/3s, or summon those 3/3s to their opponent.
So both versions are a pretty big tempo play. cause a 4-Mana 5/4 that summons two 3/3s is pretty strong, and spend 6-Mana on two vanilla 3/3s is a pretty slow and weak play for the opponent. And on curve you always are going to summon at least one 3/3.
Looks strong in a Mill deck, or as the top curve of an Aggro deck, but It's not the kind of Legendary I'd be excited to open in a pack.
I think it's a fine aggro card. If your opponent's under too much pressure to play vanilla 3/3s Pozzik's just really overstatted. I think using it to clog the opponent's hand is a meme. It's like a conditional Gnomeferatu and if the matchup is slow enough for the burn to even be good they can probably just play the 3/3s.
I think it is interesting myself.
It's a well designed card.
this is a blanced disruption card, blizzard getting matured after a decade
Can’t really call it a disruption card since you have multiple outs from this situation.
The Disruption cards we had over the years are usually effects that you can’t prevent unless through some unconventional means.
Theotar will always swap a card for a card. Patchwerk will always destroy a minion from hand or deck. Parlay will always swap itself with a card from opponent deck and so on.
It is more similar to King Mukla and bananas than what we know as disruption cards in my opinion.
The disruption is when they have 8 cards in hand, suddenly milling them. It's powerful against control decks. Like a warlock or priest that does nothing turns 1 and 2 will just have about 8 cards when you play this.
Weird card. If played, it gives your opponent two junks, but depending on the situation, they could just summon them and that's it
Maybe is better to trigger the effect immediately?
Summon "them"? Does it mean it will summon them from the opponent's hand with none summoned if they are not in the hand (like if they play them or card is not played) Or is it a simple deathrattle that gives 2 3\3s?
it means summon them for your side of the field from your opponent's hand. Has to be some reason why they didn't just use play them for yourself. Maybe there was some op synergy with cards that give bonuses when a card is played instead of summoned or spawned.
I dunno… I think clogging your opponent’s hand is good disruption, plus it’s likely to burn their next card they draw.
That's powerful! You get a 5/4 and two 3/3s for just 4 mana, while also adding garbage to your opponent's hand, which in control matchups can be used to burn a card or just clog up the hand to prevent drawing.
