New Card Reveal: Light's Champion, Ram Wrangler, Varian, Rhonin

Four new cards have been revealed today. Light's Champion via Blizzard Taiwain, Ram Wrangler from LifeCoach, and the two legendaries from the card voting. No new card vote was put up after the recent vote concluded.

Varian Clarifications

Whirthun had a few clarifications to make about Varian Wrynn today.

Varian Wrynn

  • If your board is full, Varian puts drawn minions into your hand. If Chromaggus is on board, you'd get a copy of the minion. (Source)
  • Minions will be played onto the board if your hand is full. (Source)
  • Like all minions summoned to the board, minions brought on by Varian don't activate their battlecries. (Source)

Brawl: The Great Summoner Competition

The ninth tavern brawl is now live, which is identical to week 4's brawl, and we're building our own decks this week.

The design challenge this week is to build a deck primarily with spells, since each time you cast a spell, a random minion of the same mana cost gets summoned. The Value!
