"we will make Candleshot meta, whether they like it or not"
As others have mentioned, you could discover this beast and since the attacks are tracked in the background, they will accumulate unlike, say, an Infuse minion. Even Demon Hunter minions that are activated or changed based on attacks typically manifest that when they are on the board, not constantly stack that sort of thing beforehand.
This is a really good Face Hunter card, if there's enough decent weapons to use. It adds significant late game reach, especially with Brann.
Turn 10:
Brann Bronzebeard + Ancient Krakenbane + 2 copies of this with let’s say 5 Dmg
= at least 30 Face-Dmg
Wonder how many people realize this will be in the Zombeast pool, and this capable of getting Poisonous.
Ah yes, the 2-cost minion in my Odd deck.
It doesn't look that impressive but between Candleshot and all the other weapons Hunter has it can grow to 5+ damage rather quickly (even dealing 3 damage would already be quite strong).
Not to mention it is "at least decent" Zombeast discovery option.
This card has no ceiling and is very scary. Luckily Hunter doesn't have too, too many weapons, but this is potentially doing 10 damage for 2 mana on turn 10.
its scary but not as much as you think. This is super slow, attacking is not as easy as you think we already have a very similar effect in Kurtrus hero card, and I would say he is played after attacking for 5-6 times in DH. Hunters in the other hand have a much harder time attacking, as they need to find a weapon. but then if you are going nuts with weapons you absolutely go bran and zola for maximum damage vs control.
This is copyable and discoverable and super easy to tutor in a way the Kurtrus hero card is not, it's gonna be insane.
Zola and Brann only make things even worse.
Also this is a third of the cost of Kurtrus.
Yes imagine a control Hunter deck that this enables. You stall and repeatedly attack with your hero, then after turn 7 drop Brann and two of these. You only need them to do 8 or 9 damage each to OTK.
And you can copy them with Stitched Tracker and Selective Breeder, and discount several ways that could allow you to play three or four of them at 10 mana with Brann. VERY easy OTK.
Not Stitched Tracker, he's going away at least.
But Warsong Wrangler, Dire Frenzy for more copies, Zola.
The only thing making me go "ehhh..." is Hunter still doesn't have super great control tools, but between Tavish and a secret package it's not bad.
It's going to be a spicy Zombeast option with Lifelink when it drops.
Did you mean Lifesteal?
That's crazy good. Even after only one attack this is playable, and later on with Brann you can burst for a ton.
Late in the game, it would be a great draw. You'll have guaranteed a few attacks by then. You could easily battlecry and ping good damage to the face or a minion. This minion is good tempo for the mid game. Lucky turn 1 or 2 candleshot makes this a fantastic tempo play early on
OP in quest Hunter
Quest Hunter doesn't run weapons...
ma bad. hero power i thought
Quest Hunter did run Candleshot, but that alone would not make this card good in the deck.
