Cataclysm more simple isn't???
Turn 5: Soul Barrage
Turn 7: Lady Darkvein + Defile
Why is discard suddenly the focus again? It's like they just run out of ideas and recycle them.
These expensive "randomly split damage" cards are *so* inconsistent; they can be game ending or completely useless. Getting this for free is probably better than a Fist of Jaraxxus style effect, though.
I have a question about order. If I discard this and I discard Suffocating Shadows which goes off first? How is that decided?
I see a semi likely scenario popping on Trolden of people turn one Soulfire face into this being discarded for an additional six for 10 on turn one.
Jaraxxus got tired of fisting and now uses a machinegun instead (at least in standard, in wild he can do both)
Doomguard > Fist of Jaraxxus, Fist of Jaraxxus, Doomguard > Soul Barrage, Soul Barrage, 30 > 0.. GG ^^ Waiting for a YT video with this happening.
Get Fist of Jaraxxused
I mean, if you manage to overwhelm your opponent so much by your discarding effects, and constantly discarding things, this is not bad at all. In the best case a fireball for a passive effect. 3☆
Not a fan of this one. It's absolutely unplayable unless discarded, and even when discarded the effect is worth 3 mana at most. But in a "discard everything" deck I guess you have to take all of the synergy.
good card for mechatun warlock!
It's a shadow spell, so you can use Lady Darkvein for 12 more random damage.
I want to make a bootleg C'thun effect with this and Expired Merchant
scary card
better than the "destroy random minion on discard/play" spell but still a weaker discard upside card. If that gets enough synergy this will get experimented with at least.
