Quote from BlizzardFueled by friendly competition and fun, the Grand Tournament is a marvelous event where the greatest heroes in the land put their mastery on display before adoring crowds. At the heart of every hero is a special something that gives them the power to rise above and achieve victory. Now those powers are poised to become even grander!
Today, we dive a little deeper into Hearthstone’s second expansion, The Grand Tournament, by taking a look at how cards from the upcoming set will interact with Hero Powers with the addition of our brand-new game mechanic and keyword—Inspire.
Hero Powers are the manifestation of heroic prowess and play a major role in The Grand Tournament. Many of the valiant minions who will be joining your cause with this expansion have a knack for meddling with Hero Powers, making some stronger, some weaker, and changing some around entirely! One minion even lets you use your Hero Power multiple times per turn!
Giants are a pretty regular sight in the Tavern—when they’re not on the board bringing the hurt, they enjoy quiet nights with friends by the hearth, just the same as you or I. The Grand Tournament introduces a new giant to the fray, one with a slightly frostier disposition. Don’t let his appearance fool you, though. Frost Giant may look like a cold character, but use your Hero Power enough and he’ll warm up to you quickly!
What’s better than a Hero Power? A BETTER Hero Power, of course! Justicar Trueheart will supercharge your classic Hero Powers to mighty new heights. Imagine blasting an enemy with Heal for four damage (with the aid of an Auchenai Soulpriest), or summoning exactly the totem you need, just when you need it, with Totemic Slam!
Hero Powers have always been a cornerstone of the Hearthstone experience. The Grand Tournament introduces exciting new ways to bolster and change them that will make Hero Powers more heroic than ever.

so ready for this
Trueheart is pretty nifty. I think he's like Thaurissan, in that he has an impact on the rest of the game even if removed quickly.
Shaman gets what its normal hero power should be, and everyone else gets a big buff to theirs
Yes and no, current shaman power is a bit weak but having to choose which totem you want can be extremely good; spell power whenever you need the extra damage/taunt to negate big damage/heal to trade minion. Having it as a normal hero power would be too strong, however I think they should of kept the previous healing totem that used to also heal hero by 1 at the end of the turn. The only weak ones I see there would be hunter and warlock, too slow of a play for hunter and warlock don't care being damaged.
I can't wait to try this upgraded power with auchenai priest ^-^
Auto include in my Control Warrior deck. Love it.
Well as a Handlock player I'm pretty bloody interested in that there upgraded hero power. Yikes.
But Molten Giant ---> benefits from lose life
But Frost giant benefits from using hero power. Just would have to adjust your gameplay a bit.
It'll be interesting to see what comes from this expansion but I could see a mixture of giants now being played in Handlock, maybe 1 molten and 1 frost, or 2 frost depending on how this theme works out?
Almost everyone get double HP,Shaman(the worst class by far ATM)get "remove the RNG from your HP".Thats goes to show you just why and how bad the class is.Third class citizen.
Actually you missed the part where it also removes the restriction for how many of the same totem you can have out from your hero power. If you wanted to with this card, you could spawn as many Stoneclaw Totems as you could activate your hero power in a single turn. In fact you can spawn Searing Totems like they are Silverhand Recruits.
You know, I didn't think of that. But, I'm not ENTIRELY sure that you're correct. They don't specify that you CAN summon multiples of the same totem, and already you're prohibited from doing so when it's a random selection- not sure that removing the randomness will also remove the "only 1 in play" restriction. I agree that it would be a good IDEA and would go a long way towards making Shaman less crap, but it's not guaranteed.

"It is possible to summon a duplicate of a totem with Totemic Slam, yes."
I second this. This season I made a very viable Shadowpriest deck (a very good counter to Patron Warrior) and with these changes Shadowform might become a dead card.
Maybe there will be other cards with better synergies for Shadowform, so there is still hope.
Handlock and Warrior meta inc
Combo this with Velen and you heal for 8 every time.
Not to mention that Priest is bound to get some sweet new Inspire cards or ways to empower their Hero Power as well! Super hype.
Why stop there, drop an Auchenai next turn and kill pretty much anything with 2 mana each turn
Then you drop a Soulpriest...
Bad squirrel !
