Players shouldn't be burdened with skipping 35-40 turns
Lets be honest, anyone opting in to play such a deck in the first place should totally be burdened with it.
In all seriousness though, "immune" minions can still be killed, and any deck running the combo you mentioned would be a heavy control deck which would likely have plenty of ways to kill the Mal'Ganis.
Its 50 turns for both players, so 100 turns total, you can take over 90 turns in a row if you are a secret mage, someone on youtube tested it recently, I dont remember who.
I thought this card looked fun when I first read it, but then i remembered that you can play 1 taunt minion and you literally cannot be damaged ever again from minions. Why do they create crap like this??? You can easily bypass the fatigue downside as well just by running healing or any card that shuffles into your deck. Not to mention the fact that this is a 10 10 for some reason which means you automatically put your opponent on a 2 turn timer most games. Who asked for this??? And it's neutral...
Believe it or not the developers actually thought about this years ago and this is how it's worked in game for as long as I can remember: if a minion with taunt gains immune, the shield icon around the border of the minion from taunt stays BUT the effect where you can only target that minion goes away, which means you can actually ignore the taunt entirely and go around it. This is specifically so the game state you described can't happen, because obviously that would be ridiculous and crazy unbalanced.
This plus mal,ganis= win the game.
Twisting Nether, Shadow word: Ruin, etc send their regards.
Mecha Cthun still kills you if you are immune. Also kill effects still kill minions. Also Priest quest still wins the game.
Well ya, but guess what, I be doing better with mecha Cthun. What I would probably be most afraid of is the ten cost shard. Still upped your comment.

It's just not the same game anymore, the one I started playing years ago, not by a longshot. The power inflation has just been insane. Draw consistency is through the roof. Grind entirely eliminated. The game isn't about making better use of your resources and incremental advantage, it's all just play-and-win BS these days.
I'd honestly rather by 20 Mercenaries packs than this miniset, with the direction Constructed has been headed.
