Even Pirates can be Champions
Yaarrrr Harrr! Another update from the @PlayHearthstone twitter today, this time a picture of a pirate with yet another blurb about champions.
Quote from @PlayHearthstoneChampions are sometimes even pirates with barrels for feet, although admittedly that’s rare!

The Galaxy Gifts Card Back which we datamined last month is now available. The card back comes with three free classic packs.
The card back is obtained by playing Hearthstone on a Samsung Galaxy S6 series phone.

Starting July 16, players around the world who play Hearthstone® on one of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 series phones will receive three free Classic card packs and a shiny Galaxy Gifts card back.Players who want to pick up their Galaxy Gifts rewards just need to download the mobile version of Hearthstone to their devices from Galaxy Apps or Google Play™ and enjoy the game.

There are no regional restrictions, so you can get your Galaxy Gifts rewards anywhere, but they can only be redeemed once per Battle.net account!
A bunch of random digital cards that get people thinking and excited. Tied to lore of another overgrown product. Jack up the costs (to create false value), make the rewards incredibly elusive (more false value), and use any means to generate income (doesn't have to be false to the creators).
Hearthstone
Real cards cost a lot of money. I mean, at least they're real. Even then I hardly ever knew people to play card games. Pokemon maybe back when I was in grade school... back when Pokemon first was released.
What happened that people in other parts of the world continued to pour their lives and earnings into these things. Nobody ever wanted to see the stacks of real cards people collected (very few collectors except in their comic stores or basements), it was typically embarrassing actually to show others what you'd collected. I'm not understanding how this has spiraled off into something successful enough that SAMSUNG wants to advertise on it.
How does Hearthstone enrich anyone's lives? What do people get from this that warrants their time/effort/money? And don't say fun, because that's not something you strive or work for, it's something you create in whatever you do. So what else can it offer you? (I imagine some people somewhere might get along and bond over this, but certainly not in my part of the world where it's typically like "What's a hearthstone?")
What. A. Pile. Of. Rubbish.
Using your logic, nothing that is fun should be worth your time or money. Why would anyone buy gaming consoles or games then?
People are happy to spend money on Hearthstone because they enjoy playing the game and want to have competitive decks without grinding out game after game to save gold for card packs. Simples.
Right, because Ontario has such a dearth of Hearthstone players..
Stranglethorn Vale has Trolls in camps in the north west region and Pirates all along the south coast. ...it also has the Gurubashi Arena. So perhaps we are getting a Gurubashi Arena themed something?
i can't wait
3 days to go.... Da hype is real Kreygasm
Genymotion = Happiness
Looks like it's time to buy a new phone. SIKE, sticking to my Galaxy S5. Screw you Blizzard.
Just going to do this through someone who has a S6
Or genymotion lel
sad post, tho.
Did anyone else notice that the barrel is not actually this pirates foot and that he is merely resting his peg leg on the barrel? If that barrel is his foot this guy cannot walk. I understand that the metal "shoe" on his peg looks like a connection to the barrel but he is simply doing a captain Morgan with a barrel as the resting place for his peg.
Disappointed in you blue poster you should have known this.
It seems that every one I know is getting the card back via an Android emulator...
That's an option? Cool.
I haven't done that anyway. But that's what is happening in China. Every Hearthstone community is filled with topics teaching how to use an Android emulator to get the card back...
How is blizz supposed to know you didn't buy an S6?
As far as Blizz is concerned everyone borrowed an S6 to get the back and packs from one of their pals.
yep. just like they banned all who got fireside gathering card backs on emulators
or those who buy tespa card backs on ebay
or remember when ppl used android emulator for free packs or asked their friends who have ipads/phones to play 1 game for them?
so much bans. right? right?
how will blizz prove i didnt play 1 game on my friends s6 or that i didnt sell my s6?
silly people silly blizzard silly rewards....
Although I am a lucky owner of S6 but I can assure you that you can get this card back by using android emulator. Try it out if you really want to get this card back. As for expansion, I am really excited for Pirates!
which emulator can emulate the galaxy s6?
