Battlegrounds Reveals: Heroes and Quest Cards - Rewards too! - Demon Rework & Toxfin Back!
It's reveal season for Battlegrounds and we will soon see the new additions to the game mode.
EDIT: Blizzard added a note to the article: Exact quest requirements will change based on which reward it's paired with. Certain rewards require a higher difficulty level to achieve in a quest to obtain. Example: Trigger 6 Deathrattles could increase to a higher number when paired with different reward combinations.

Rough Translations
Pending Official Translations, this is our best attempt at what the cards say!
- Mysterious Sin Monument: After you discover a card, get an extra copy.
- Mirror Shield: After each refresh, give a minion in Bob's Tavern +4/+4 and Divine Shield.
- Ghost Mask: Add "Other Cards" to your hand. Your end-of-turn effect applies twice. Note: We think the "Other Cards" refers to End-Of-Turn cards.

Are golden cards getting changed? They don't look good IMO. They look like it would be harder to tell if its a golden card
This is pretty cool. I'm happy to see BG getting some love. They really like this mode apparently. And its nice because you can play it for free while the people who have money pay for the employees and resouces by purchasing the cosmetics and whatnot.
Changes sound really nice but I'm of the mindset that I am not paying for each game mode. Either constructed or BGs and I choose constructed, I think it's important to draw a line with your financial investment into a game, especially with a predatory company like Blizzard (Diablo Immortal.) If you decide to pay for both constructed and BGs, what's going to stop you when a new mode comes out.
Sefin definitely ruined most lobbies imo, wasn't a fun mechanic to play or play against. Everyone is still just going to Brann Primalfins till they can poison their whole board. Demon rework looks promising, trickster definitely deserves to be T2. Nathrezim was probably one of the cards I saw the least of of any card in BGs.
Regarding spendings: for me it worked to decide on a certain maximum amount of money I'm willing to spend on games each month, be doesn't matter whether it's new games or micro transactions.
RIP BG, was fun while it lasted.
Wish the reward track was same for bg and standard hs. Now u gotta spend more time individually.
I remember when the season track for Hearthstone came out the first time. You got only a tiny fraction of the gold you received before the track. Then Blizzard listened to how much players complained and slowly adjusted it. I assume it'll be the same here. First with that new currency everything will be super expensive and the track offer very little for the time investment needed, and then over time it will slightly improved to a normal level of greed.
The thing is Blizzard does this on purpose. That rewards track gave terrible rewards - on purpose - so that if people complain, they'll "buff" it and make themselves look like the good guy. On the occasion that players *don't* complain (enough), they'll keep those terrible rewards and get away with their greed. If anything, it screws over players for a long while before anything is actually changed.
Hearthstone Players, I have an announcement:
BG is dead. RIP
Yes, in the same way the ladder is "dead". You know that you are wrong, but you write, cause its fun to you?
You know you are wrong, but you write, cause it's fun to you?
Yep. I agree.
My understanding is that Blizzard needs to cash in a lot in order to increase the stock's value in order to complete the acquisition from Microsoft. Because the FTC might stop it. This also explains that abomination of Diablo Immortal.
Anyway, they are simply killing the company. Time is ended, Blizzard.
maybe you think that spend 10 gold two turns in a row to buy only tier 1-2 minion is fun, or not the minion type you play. and the stupid timer everyturn. hiehie, good luck bg enjoyer
Look at it this way: Would you rather have 1 million "customers" paying $0 each, or 100,000 customers paying $10 each?
I doubt Blizzard cares a whole lot if all the free players decide to jump ship. There will still be more than enough paying customers to fill the queue.
I never play BG, except the weekly quest force me to do. Now BG have its own Season Pass, Team5 can remove all BG's stuffs in Tavern Pass and deduct the price. Why do I pay for a mode I never play? Half of the Tavern Pass's Paid Track are trash BG's skin.
Were you not aware that you can reroll that weekly quest? I always do.
I hope they will do at least for the next pass. Someone in another forum told me. But here people said different.
Would be great. I'm playing bg a little bit, too. But I have no interest in cosmetics or anything else there. Skins are ugly most of time and board, bartender or this weird face animation are unnecessary and boring for me.
Bought once the offer with bartender ragnaros, cause of ragnaros. But if he just says the same three sentences over and over again it is a bit boring. Skins came with this offer are all ugly.
I will never buy something for bg as it isn't worth the money for me personally.
I am gonna say it: Murloc Holmes is extremely underwhelming.
Especially in comparison with a Hero revealed in the same announcement.
The same way it is "balanced" in constructed. Must be lore canon. :p
Easier Barov without risk, i think he will be good enough.
