Ok so I absolutely HATE it when all the people on the forums whine about "blizzard copied X thing" when they're vaguely related or the thing they copied had flaws and blizzard 'improved' them, but guys. This is the most shameless plagiarism of legends of runeterra, or League of Legends. They literally had a freaking event that's still going on as I type this where they had "an alternate universe" where they dressed up all the female characters like sailor moon and made them "magical star guardian" girls and sold skins for premium prices to buy the outfits. IT HASN'T EVEN ENDED YET. This is so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if Riot was able to sue blizzard over this. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing all of those characters dressed like that and I look forward to the cosplays, but DAMN, that is shameless of Blizzard lol. I guarantee you that they looked at Riot's revenue from last month from all the skin purchases and are solely doing this as a result.

it's not just that. It's the timing as well. Imagine if blizz released WoW dragonflight and then a month later, a rival company made an expansion to their MMO where they introduced a playable dragon person class and the story was about going to a mystery island full of dragons. 

In this case I assume that it's just coincidence. Otherwise I would be very impressed that they managed to copy all of this in such a short amount of time.

Star Guardian skins wanna be?   It would be less evident if they launch this months after the actual  LOL event of the Star Guardians.

The thing about Skins in Battlegrounds is you cant buy a skin for your favourite Hero specifically,

neither can you play your favourite Hero every game to make use of that skin.

So buying skins, especially legendary skins always seemed weird to me.

Truth. And to boot they've been working on this for over a year? I... just... WOW... I'd understand if it was an obviously high number of heroes getting these skins, but I guarantee it won't be over 20.

I hope they reveal the Death Knight class soon.
