What will we see July 22?

We've seen a few different pieces of information now leading up to the July 22 announcement.

  • July 2 - PCGamer received a scroll in their mailbox mentioning a gathering of champions.
  • July 8 - The Hearthstone team posted a blog post talking about happiness in the air, shining armor, and people getting impaled.
  • July 9 - A tweet with the picture of a Blood Elf stating champions answer the call of those who need aid.
  • July 13 - Blizzard announced an in-person event and livestream for July 22.
  • July 14 - Another tweet, this time with a picture of a Troll.

Deck Spotlight: Budget Shockadin

Today we've got the light shined on a budget Paladin Shockadin deck from KRUPSSTONE! Interestingly enough, this deck was built to work around a challenge Krup gave himself - to not use any Legendary cards or cards from adventures while climbing the ladder.

The deck plays like any aggro deck in that you're going to want to hit your opponent's face 99.9% of the time, but Krup recommends a bit of careful early game trading against Face Hunter and Zoolock

Archon Team League Week 3

Week 3 of the Archon Team League begins tomorrow at 10 AM PDT (13:00 EDT, 19:00 CET), and we'll be seeing the following matches this week:

  • Team Liquid vs Nihilum
  • Cloud9 vs Tempo Storm
  • Forsen Boys vs Team Archon
  • Team Celestial vs Value Town

Class Design Competition - Phase 3 Voting

Phase 3 of the class design competition, the classic card design phase, has concluded with 11 finalists submitting their cards and now it is time for us to vote on which ones are the best! 

Voting ends on July 16th, so go check out all the classes your fellow HearthPwnians have created and vote for the ones you think should move on. The top 4 classes in this part of the competition will be moving on to the final design phase, one which requires them to create their Naxxramas, Goblins vs Gnomes, and Blackrock Mountain set additions.
