This weekend the Grandmasters 2022 Season 2: Last Call started its 4 week run, with matches that decide who is going to potentially compete for the World Championship later this year. We will fill you in with the results of the Top 4 and the decklists of the winner! Congratulations to them and commiserations to the players who missed out.
This week was played in the Conquest format, which means players bring 4 Class decks, and get one banned by their opponent. They then need to win with each of their remaining 3 decks to get the Best of 5 series win.

I'm glad that Bunnyhoppor won at the end. SuperFake was just annoying to watch.
Edelweiss was really good and insightful. TJ was utterly out of his depth with her and several times professed to not being prepared properly through comments he made. I'd happily listen to a Edelweiss & Lorinda team for the Americas instead. Without Frodan to carry the broadcast and make up for his off the wall comments and weird sense of humour, I don't think TJ is really a good fit for competitive hearthstone.
To be honest though, even with Frodan I always felt the Americas team was the weakest of the broadcast teams. They were always more about the entertainment often at the cost of insightfulness.
Pretty neat and interesting games all around. Except Quest priest, screw that!
The final was a bit meh, because SuperFake would rather dance around than plan his turn, then rope and misplay.
What is everyone's opinion on the two guest casters?
I think Edelweiss pulled up strong, maybe not ideally paired with goofy TJ.
Amy was a miss to be honest. Audio quality aside, Jia had a hard time there. Often just repeats of what Jia just said or descriptions of what you could see on screen. Maybe useful for the visually impaired, less so as game commentary.
I agree with you. As far as entertainment and interest in high level Hearthstone play go, I find having both entertaining and knowledgeable casters the best. For instance I like the Raven and Sottle pairing, even if they are often not as insightful as Jia or Edelweiss. I don't mind TJ's goofiness and I enjoyed the Edelweiss / TJ pair.
But it's true Amy showed neither qualities which was a shame, I thought.
