This card isn't going to be fun at all for one player. Due to the way they've designed previous cards it's the sort of card the game needs to keep the degenerate decks in check, but equally, it's an extremely poorly designed card which can basically end up an "i win" card against some decks.
I suspect it will end up being used in a lot of decks and possibly kill off entire archetypes on it's own - the mark of a badly designed card...
One card wincons aren’t fun either
Priest Quest dust refund please, thanks.
I will hunt you down! :3
Real talk!
To make the game less boring and it's incredibly hard not to have polarizing cards in a card game when it's been around long enough and when power creep starts to kick in. Specially when you consider that Lady Prestor has been basically worthless for over a year until 1 card changed that. All it takes is 1 card to make a card go from worthless to polarizing
Oh and this cards going to make me mad loosing to it because disruption is more effective in aggro most if the time. Good card.
BEHOLD, the ultimate disruption! Team 5 is in full PTSD mode now. UiS combo meta? NEVER AGAIN. This might even see play in hyper aggro much like a pseudo Illucia, just to decrease the chances of your opponent having something to remove your board. 10/10 nerf material, will cause a LOT of grief.
this has better chances to disrupt combos than mutanus, since it can get any card instead of random minion
At first glance I thought: "Hey that's neat against Guff, Questline rewards, Lady Prestor and so on, basically Mutanus the Devourer on steroids."
Then that thought was immediately followed by the question why cards so polarizing that you would consider playing this exist in the first place.
DECISION: Are you playing Extreme Aggro?
Maybe it's just a feature of the decks I tend to play but I have a miserable win rate against Celestial Alignment Druid in Wild. This gives me another chance to disrupt them and maybe win. Day 1 golden craft for me. :)
It's not gonna do that much, since they have two copies, a lot of draw, have double your mana at any time, you seem to be aggro so you have to keep it in the mulligan or hope to draw it (in an aggro deck, already hopeless), and on top of that, you can choose among only three cards in a class that has always 7-9 cards in hand :/
holy, this steals kinda 40% of the times xyrella reward, even more dangerous than a mutanus for a quest priest
Stats seem a tad weak for a 4 drop legendary, right? I mean yeah you're stealing a card, but you're giving them a card too, so it's not an extra card you're getting, even if you are getting the benefit of a better card in most situations.
I feel like for a legendary this should either be a 3 mana 3/3, or a 4 mana 4/4. Still a decent card though.
You don’t play this for stats or to get good cards, only for removing key combo pieces/wincons from your opponents hand. Stats don’t matter when you steal mechathun cataclysm or shudderwock, guff, usw and even against aggro you can steal smite. The card you give to your opponent will most likely be useless for them, as is the card you get from them but that doesn’t matter
I would play this in every slow deck even as a 5 mana 1/1, stats are totally fine bro
steal Kazakusan,Guff, AoE for aggro, Prestor,Cariel,Boar, Jayce...
the way it works with Brann (i think): you discover for both it swaps, repeat...
i actually think this is a Loatheb lvl disruption card but not in the same way; it targets 1 card decks
oha, that is a nice combo breaker
Great card will see play depending on meta, definitely in wild where disruption is very important. Also spell and hero card disruption, now mages will have to play their time warp in the same turn they complete.
exactly what the game needs
Looks quite dramatic
