Mill Rogue could potentially use this. Will have to see how it works in practice.
Lol I didn’t even realize that this was a battlecry when I wrote my first comment. What a useless card. Just dust it
This card is so cool. It's like the Warlock killer.
Only next turn, so if your enemy don't use hero power or other card draw, he only take 2 damage
The good thing is you can put 2 in your deck, so it will limited your opponent card draw for 2 turn
This card pretty insane in wild
Yeah you use it the turn after they throw out the rod, when they had counted on being able to blitz you with card draw and discount.
Damn it will be in some shenanigans like Octosari if there are cards that make minion die at the start of the turn.
Maybe giving Octosari & Doomsayer.
deals at least 2 damage to the enemy, so view it as a 3/4 deal 2 to enemy at minimum.
I don't think its worth space because it relies on opponent agency to really deal damage but from a discover, its not the worst pick.
Why 3/4? It is 2/4.
it changed
I saw it just as 2/4 sry then... they really made a lot of changes to many cards.
This card, kind of like Star Aligner, is probably just waiting for the card to break it.
I hope Star Aligner has brought a chair.
This is gonna be the excuse to print some crazy drawing🗿
make warlocks take 4 damage from tapping, or a crazy OTK making opponents draw and dying from burn
This is more interesting than I thought at first glance. It sets up a brutal turn but gives your opponent a turn to prepare.
Turn X: Ashen Elemental
Your turn. Am I holding a Brann Bronzebeard, a Coldlight Oracle and a Shadowstep?
(Yes, I am)
In terms of defending against this, the only bright side I can see is that the defence against these kinds of shenanigans is the same as against Pain Warlock. I'm not sure how much of a silver lining this is.
I think we're going to be seeing a lot of this card.
There's no Coldlight interaction. This only works on "next turn" and not "until the end of your next turn." Once your opponent passes the turn, Ashen Elemental is done.
*facepalm*
Thanks for pointing that out, I totally missed it. :)
in that case, I look forward to seeing other people make the same mistake.
100%, I'm gonna run this in battlecry shaman, you could theoretically make each card draw do 14 damage or more
Can this be stacked with Brann Bronzebeard or Bolner Hammerbeak ?
If yes then maybe a good tech for shaman like in elemental build
hyup, it was what I was just thinking
