How does it work with Hedra the Heretic ? Will it count 1 or 9 spells ? Might be interesting to try this
It will probably only count one spell since you technically don't cast the 8 random spells, the spell is
So original... And please give us more rng cards, who needs skill. This game
U can say about this card what u want but Rarran did the funniest & smartest card reveal till yet 😂 nice one GJ
It's unplayable in wild because of Astral Communion and too many cards that can heal your opponent or buff enemy minions. Also, big card draw spells that can easily burn your deck.
Such creativity Blizzard, just WOW!
FINALLY a good card, let’s go
Seems Blizzard had to little control over winrates. Why not toss a coin at the start of the game to determine winner.
Convoke is my most favorite ability in wow, one shoting people in pvp, This card makes me soo soo happy, although...it won't be good as the retail wow version, and most likely backfire A Lot, still fun. <3
boring but, unfortunately, viable
Compared to Rune of the Archmage there are a few pros and cons. This card is in a deck that has some mana cheats and ramp so you can play this faster than Mage, it guarantee's 8 spells of varying effects, but there is a chance you wiff on getting a few big spells and end up spending more mana then you get back.
Definitely a fun card, might see play as a one of in big Druid decks kinda like how Big Spell Mage ran one Rune, but definitely not going to be competitive
1. Still love HS because it´s so much fun.
2. Hate HS because it´s getting more and more a casino.
Too random, garbage. You'll probably end up with a board full of whelps at least.
Yea... then do it again with one card. that will also give you 5 other spells.
So it would be still more reliable with similar result to play Flipper Friends Heart of the Wild and Composting for 10 Mana.
Well yes... but that's 3 cards compared to the 1 used by Convoke the Spirits. And you still have 5 more random spells to cast, which could be more board buffs or draw.
I see Druids are practicing their multiclassing and taking the mage approach to things.
Yeah the WoW players were kinda surprised by this ability when it was introduced in Shadowlands too.
I completely forgot that Convoke was the Druid specific Nightfae spell. I guess in terms of adaptation it's pretty faithful but kind of breaks class identity in hearthstone.
Yeah it's a weird one for sure. Honestly not sure what the solution to that is. The spell itself is going to be a talent in Dragonflight, so it's now a thing Druids in WoW can just do, meaning that it makes sense to have it in HS too, but the design is indeed weird for Druid specifically. But I'm not sure they'd want to change it either, since it *is* such a faithful adaptation. It's weird, honestly.
