Might be good in a aggro-y Paladin deck. Sinful Sous Chef is enough to bring this card to full Infuse, which is pretty easy to do before turn 4 in a aggro deck.
MIGHT work in dude Paladin, but these high infuse cards are just too awkward to see play.
This seems absolutely obscene.
A 2/4 is a weak 3 drop. Two 3/1s with divine shield are weak 2 drops or strong 1 drops.
So it's... okay if you get the infuse effect off. But really this will activate subsequent infuse effects, so that's neat I suppose.
After completing the questline this card is really strong.
3/1 with DS is a weak 2 drop????
In what world?
Scarlet Crusader this used to be a thing. But, we have come a long way since Classic. Used to be a terrific minion in Classic though!
Yes but Scarlet crusader is a 3 drop would be a strong 2 drop
@Kin
Eh, I'm probably underestimating it. I think if they printed a 3/1 divine shield today as a single minion it'd be a pretty average 2 drop probably. They've scaled how strong 1 drops are now for a while (though 2 drops are about the same).
I guess that makes this 7 mana in minions on a single card. That's... really good.
Very powerful effect, that's a tough board to deal with on turn 4, if you can get it off that early.
Dude pally is never really strong.. but who knows. maybe they will get it right this time when we see more. I can see this being good if that deck is a thing.
Dude pally used to be the strongest deck when Gen and Baku were in standard. Before that, it had been strong for a while
"Dude paladin" has been extremely strong in several different expansions. With Genn and Baku (as TheNameForgotten already mentioned) it has been so strong that it was the primary reason why those two cards got rotated to Wild after just a year in Standard instead of the usual two years.
Dude pally was good. And with divine shield it makes it very hard to handle
Dude Paladin is rarely strong in a healthy way. When Dude Paladin is strong its almost always because of a single op card and not the actual Dude Package. Like Dude Paladin wasn't great Gen, Baku, and Sunkeeper Tarim were.
